Not the world's most exciting game. We probably had the better of the 1st half without getting much on target, went behind in the second but were rescued by Conor Washington. Could've equalised earlier when Chuks hit the bar, but also handed Shrewsbury two gilt-edged chances towards the end that we were lucky they wasted.
Full Time 1-1. Your thoughts?

My detailed analysis:
We are still shite then.

We are just a mid table team in a poor league12

May I be the first to say everything will be fine when Bowyer gets another transfer window and can build the side he wants.
And pigs may fly.8 -
Commentary saying that was like chess game. Should have watched that instead.3

Anyone who thinks that was a good performance needs their fucking head tested. 1-1 at home to Shrewsbury, barely deserved. How lucky are we.21

Well the players did their best to gift the points to Shrewsbury didn’t they?1
-
We're not good enough. That's all.

Another MOM free game!2

Pratley and Watson in the middle and morgan on the right of a flat 4 midfield your having a laugh Bowyer. Absolute sick of this shit, his love for Pratley and Watson has killed us this season.21

The game and result is a good reflection of the quality of this Charlton team.1

We had a lot of possesion, but didn't have the quality to do much with it. Good to see us come back from 1-0 down, but overall it was pretty poor.1

Lucky lucky lucky!
Lucky to have even got 1 point. 2nd half was dire.0 -
Utter shite.
How the fuck Bowyer thinks Watson and Pratley is a good pairing is unbelievable.
Amos
Gunter
Pearce
Pratley
Watson
Millar
None of these are good enough to get us promotion.
Sad times.11 -

Just wish we could do the basics. Sick and tired of the same mistakes every week. How many times do we give the ball back to the other team!! So frustrating. Chuks misses another sitter!!
Feels like a loss knowing we had the chance to go into 6th place2 -
Lucky to come away with a point at home to Shrewsbury.
What a time to be alive!!4 -
Enjoyed that. Nice, tidy play in defence and the middle of the park, some movement up front and something to build on as we hit the business end of the season.5

Tried their hardest to throw the point away in the last few minutes. Some unbelievably bad defending on show. This was no different from a lot of the performances in the terrible run. The difference is the opposition only punished us once today.8
-
Sums up our season. Not good enough. Those two chances missed by Stockley and Aneke were terrible. Should have won that and an extra two points on the board.
That DJ looks a poor player. Seems to be getting worse every time he plays.3 -

Millar thrown to the wolves already1

I honestly just don't see what Bowyer is when he plays Pratley and Watson in the middle together. They're not all of a sudden going to turn into Ineista and Xavi and start moving the ball around quickly.
Against a team like Shrewsbury who you know are going to play compact and put every man behind the ball, we looks good when we moved the ball quickly along the floor. But that rarely happened for 60+ minutes of the game as we had no options of movement between the lines in the centre of the park to link up the play.

You don't go on runs when players turn up one week and disappear the next. This group of players are severely missing 15-180000 of us dishing out bollockings from the stands. No urgency & Some of the sloppiest football I've seen us ever play. One thing I don't get. We're trying to build positivity, why start with such a negative midfield pairing?Knowing how bad we react to going a goal down then why wouldn't you go at them from the start? Nick a ccouple of early goals and then think about bringing on the Pratleys or the Watsons?2

2 wins, 2 draws and 4 more poor performances from our last 4 games. Tripe.7
-
Centre midfield a combined age of 72.
Permanent signings post Sandgaard, pony.
In a particularly poor and disoriented league one, we are still perhaps just slightly above average, not play off worthy.
Calls for stability but that is not a team that needs a second chance it’s one that needs another overhaul.
Poor poor poor.3 -
