Better than it has been, but not good enough still. JFC has become a big player for us - his work rate drags a bit extra out of players around him. Without him, not enough players are playing with the required intensity.
Midfield isn’t good enough. Two seasons ago we had the best midfield in the league. I’m not sure the current one is even top 10. Certainly not with Pratley and Watson in it at the same time. Smith did enough as a sub to make me question why he didn’t start instead of one of those two.
Playoffs still a possibility but it feels like it doesn’t matter because I just don’t see how we would win them.6 -
When we play badly it's the player's fault.
When we play well it's to Bowyer's credit.
Deciding to ignore everything that made us half decent in the past two games once he could get the Pratley/Watson double team back together.2 -
A fair point between two mid table teams.
Quality very low sadly, and not what I expected to see come this stage of the season.
Our slow and unimaginative central midfield set the tone for our performance. They never receive criticism from the Manager.5 -
The biggest disappointment for me today is that Watson didnt get booked and pratley didnt get sent off which means they will both start on Tuesday.11

Remind me to never get another valley pass when the line up contains pratley and watson. Its just so negative. Every game is a must win to have any chance of making the play offs so we set up not to lose against,and im not being disrespectful,shrewsbury. Time to leave the old guard behind now Bow,season too far for them now. Another summer rebuild🙄0

Stockley wasnt having success in the air against them, Aneke didnt have any success against them in the reverse fixture (and didnt today) - Washington on the other hand was terrorising them when he got the ball to feet6 -
