The goal difference actually answers the difference for me, without getting into micro detail.
The points difference sticks out to me. All lower.

Did 2-0 to us as part of a correct score treble so will stick with that

I’ll know Adkins is the real deal if I see Pratley in the starting XI.  If not then I’ll start to have my doubts

Just looked up the table from 2 seasons ago at similar games played. Incredible how spaced out the point differences were compared to this season.
Sunderland the draw specialists, something which Johnson has finally moved on from

3 to 7 two years ago are all in the top 10 this year. There is a definite "pecking" order in L1, with some clubs always up there

Looking at our record in the league, I noticed you have to drop down to 14th to find anyone with a worse goals conceded record. Goes to show that Bows really did need to strengthen our defence rather than overload the midfield. One of the first things I learned when I was coaching kids, was get the defence right and you stand a chance of winning games. I'm sure the new manager will have already identified this and hopefully build from the back. Purrington back in I hope & push Maatsen in front of him if he must play. Matthews at right back when he is fit.Lets get our shape back and at the very least give the play offs a shot, albeit we are a shadow of the team from 2018 and 19.

New manager bounce twice in a week? Im hopeful rather than optimistic.

    Good Luck Nads.

    0-0 or 0-1 to us

no idea re Adkins , initial thought is beige but let’s see where he takes us and he comes across a genuinely nice fella.
More the sort you’d want your daughter to bring home   rather than your mate who you’re going on a 12 hour bender with

I don't think Stockley will be an Adkins player. Looking at his strikers from former clubs, they're strong finishers who like it on the floor.

Sheff Utd - Billy Sharp & Che Adams.

Reading - Le Fondre & Pogrebynak (who was tall but not a target man, and exceptionally good with his feet).

    Southampton - Lambert and Rodriguez.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him slowly play less of a role.

Going into the International break with 2 back to back wins would be excellent.
We won’t be going into an international break though. We will be going into the Crewe game without two internationals!

Naby Sarr winner last time we were there, boy he would make a difference In the squad right now.
Igor scored the winner, sarr scored our first. Great free kick,

3-0 to Charlton, we need to beat someone comfortably and a poor team, in poor form, came along at just the right time.

Selfish behaviour on her part. I think you need to have a think about where your loyalties are really. My suggestion is to stay at home, start on the beers and turn your phone off until 5pm.

Thing is, your Mrs has got herself in this position- you probably had 30 seconds input at best. Why should you have to suffer labour? No, no. No no No......suffer Charlton instead - they will be in your life forever. The baby will piss and shit and expect you to clean it up, whilst not allowing you to get a decent nights sleep for months. Then when you think you have cracked it, the teething will start....back to no sleep. Then when you think you have cracked it they will start walking....then drawing on walls and breaking things.... fast forward a few years and the hormones will start...they will speak to you like shit and not give a thought to what you have done for them. My advice is to ignore the child for 18 years and then acknowledge them when they are ready to move out.

Seriously good luck to you and the Mrs. All the best.

Think Schwartz will suit his style of play.

I hadn’t thought about it, but Stockley does seem OK on the floor and makes some intelligent passes. Maybe he will be able to get him to adapt?
We would still want a striker who can head the ball and score goals.
  • New, new manager bounce and a 3-1 win to the freescoring Addicks to keep our run going.

Wifi might be shit though. Better off watching on Valley Pass app on your phone, providing you have a good 4G connection

In all fairness, all we have done with Stockley is lump it up to him so a change of style might benefit him.

Your right though, Stockley is okay with the ball at his feet.

    Think he is quality tbf!
