What May not help is in my left arm many years ago after a car accident I had several plates fitted in my shoulder joint ad I’d smashed it to bits
If it is already aching, it may be the idea place to have the jab. I had the second jab last Monday and whilst my arm hurt after the first one, I seem to have cleared the second one scot free!

Had moderna jab last night - arm is in agony and difficult to sleep so pretty tired any Tips on how to stop it from hurting?.
Sounds normal for Moderna. All my friends in US who have had this vaccine have struggled a lot for a couple of days after first and second jab. Just take it easy as much as possible.

The second jab was better for me.
Yes, likewise - second AZ jab was side-effect free whereas the first one was like a mild head cold and an achy arm.

CoronaVac was used in Serrana (a town in Brazil). incredible figures. as part of an experiment they vaccinated almost all adults and the town saw deaths fall by 95% and hospitalisation by 86% Meanwhile the surrounding areas continued to spike

Aching and shivering and a sore arm is quite normal. It should only last a day or two, so just do as little as possible, whilst your body is busy building those early anti bodies. Hope you feel better soon and sure you will.
Second jab of the AZ done, feeling a bit ropey but not too bad, arm looks like it's a bit sunburned in the general area a d very stiff but nothing painkillers can't deal with.
Had my first Pfizer dose on Saturday! No real side effects, except feeling a bit hot yesterday evening - but may have been the weather combined with sitting in a stuffy car for a couple of hours. Felt like I had been punched in the arm for a day or two but feel fine this morning, got a slight itchy bump where I think the jab was, but apart from that got no side effects anymore.
Great happy friendly vibe at the vaccination centre. Looking forward to getting my second dose in august.
this morning back to normal-ish still arm aches but that's it, wiped me out for the weekend and did feel v rough but paracetamol/ibuprofen got me through and get to do it all over again end of august.
Just had mine done and now sitting in the tent for 15 minutes before I'm aloud to go. I know everyone is different when it comes to needles but I honestly didnt feel a thing. Hadn't even realised he had pricked me until he said all done. Ooo err.
Had my first vaccine this time last week, went to the walk in Twickenham stadium. Queued for an hour, got to walk round the pitch - job done. As a 23 year old very impressed and surprised to have had it already
Had my second jab today at the Bromley civic centre. In and out in ten minutes. Incredibly efficient and friendly people running it. Roll on Vegas in august 🤞

Spoke to a businessman last week who is in serious discomfort with his left arm and can't sleep after receiving his first 'jab.' He has been taking Codeine to relieve the pain but to no avail. Very depressed as well. He has opened a lawsuit against his local surgery. My wife's buddy, a chiropractor, felt obliged to have the vaccination about two months ago to make her clients feel safe and has been in extreme discomfort ever since. She also reports an eye problem which she reports as another side effect of the jab. I don't know what 'jab' either of them had. I just hope they recover soon.

I so hope you're correct on that.
We’re meeting for a beer mate if we can get there!

You must know all the people that have had a problem with the jab. Important you share this so it doesn't get covered up.

So no one on here out of thousands has reported any adverse vaccine reactions (now's your chance), yet the big anti vaxxer on CL can't move for people coming to him with adverse reactions. Weird.

Maybe it's just a coincidence or we're all in on the cover up?

Under 30s to be offered vaccine from this week, says Hancock
The majority of people in hospital are now unvaccinated, says Hancock. That is a "challenge for them" but shows vaccination works, he says.
Vaccination is being opened up to the under 30s from this week, says the health secretary.

Weird.
Doctors said it's too early.
