Admittedly (and thankfully) no-one has dropped dead like my roofers mate. I am not making these cases up. You all read about the BBC presenter who died or has that now been dissed? My daughter has told me over the past four months that four of her friends have suffered miscarriages, which seems a high proportion to me but I have no idea if they are a direct result of the vaccination. Basically you are all guinea pigs for a vaccine that has not been properly tested.
Do you howl at the moon?2 -
I bet people who don’t want the vaccine had the bcg jab at school no questions asked.2

In fact it was. If we didn't have the wonderful vaccine working, saving lives and keeping people out of hospital we wouldn't be able to go out and about and get on with our lives so that guy wouldn't have been stabbed.1 -
Canters - a friend of mine has Polio. She and several of her friends caught it about sixty years ago from playing with contaminated (sewerage) water. Sadly, she got it worse. You will argue that vaccinations fixed polio. I will argue that the main cause for the virtual end of Polio in this country is the vast improvement to our sewerage system.
You can all mock me as much as you like but I have never been vaccinated in my life and have never had any disease, don't suffer any allergies at all and am generally very fit for my age. Most of my mates are now suffering from all kinds of allergies, plus things like diabetes, asthma, cancer, ME and so forth. They know I am a vegan and jibe me for not boozing but I never talk about vaccination issues.
I am not a coward at all. I simply will not contaminate my blood system with the crap that is in the vaccines (I'm talking about vaccines in general). It's a free country and that is my choice. We'll see in the long run if vaccines fix the current Covid-19 problem or if the virus mutates as it usually does.0 -

No one is saying that a healthy diet and lifestyle doesn't help. but there is a massive element of genetics and luck involved too. Not everyone is going to be as lucky as you.
I am 26 fit and healthy, exercise regularly, eat a healthy balanced diet (moving more and more to a whole food diet) no health conditions at all. I'm not particularly worried about catching covid because statistically it is unlikely to be bad for me. Am I getting the vaccine? of course because it helps me and everyone else.
Conversely I know someone who is hugely fit, qualified nutritionist, physiotherapist, vegan, barely drunk any alcohol in his life, nearly qualified for the Olympics at rowing and martial arts, still involved in both sports - battling a horrible rare form of cancer at age 30.
Lifestyle helps but can only go so far. You should be thanking your lucky stars/whatever god you believe in that you have been lucky. Nothing more than that.21 -

I had my second jab last Friday, and over the course of Sunday afternoon my legs turned red and very painful from the knee down. This can only be a little-known and unpleasant side-effect of the vaccine. All I did was have a couple of beers and fall asleep in the sun. When I woke up, agony. Would never have had the jab if I'd known this would happen!20

My answer, which you all scoff at, is live a really healthy life, eat good food and avoid alcohol/drugs. Purity is very important if you can go down that road. But perhaps most of all clean up the environment. We should be ashamed at how we have polluted our rivers, oceans, cities, everything really. Again I repeat I am not a conspiracy theorist. I have full faith that if I contact covid-19 that my body will fight it. Time will tell.
You will all be delighted to hear that I am not renewing my season ticket because I assume we will need evidence of vaccination to enter the ground. I accept my wife and I will be unable to travel abroad, which is a bugger but I stand by my principles. I have never been vaccinated and will not start now.

Muttley - how am I going to pass on Covid-19 if I don't have it? I get checked regularly when I visit my Mum (also not vaccinated) in her independent care home.
Stoneroses - Not all of my friends are discomfited, that's a daft point to assume. In fact one mate cycled to Italy last year. Awesome!

Had my first one (31) on Saturday 5th. Apart from a stonking headache for a few hours, I was fine. Booked my second one for Aug 21st.
More than happy to get it done as I want normality back like no ones business. Its good to know that the people getting vaccinated are doing there bit to keep others safe aswell as themselves.
Went to my local hospital and it was the training part and I was walking out, I glanced into a couple of classrooms and found rubber body parts scattered around for dissection! Like something out of a horror film haha!9 -

I see you're also concerned with pollution and with animal welfare, I'm sure you'd back up these arguments of these, along with of your veganism with scientific data to back it up. So why is there a complete lack of scientific data to back up any claims that vaccines are bad for you?
It looks like its now actually impacting your lifestyle, your ability to do the things you love, travel abroad or go watch the addicks.
Your logic seems to be completely all over the place, you claim to have principles, but from what I can see it's basically impossible to work out what those principles are - sometimes based on science, other times completely not.0 -

It’s looking like the uptake for vaccine for 25-29 is good. Took my mate 5 hours today to get to front of the queue on NHS website.

https://news.sky.com/story/father-34-in-hospital-for-nearly-five-months-with-covid-urges-caution-over-21-june-easing-12326951Latest ONS figures have more than 869,000 people reporting they've had long covid for at least 12 weeks, and 375,000 people reporting they've had it for more than a year:I find this slightly ironic, as I'm currently taking part in one of the ONS studies that swab tests people every month and asks about symptoms, but the app that they give to the volunteers won't let them enter the date my symptoms started because it's too long ago. So every time they have to try to work out what the earliest date it will let them enter is, and use that. That said, I still think it would be interesting to try to work out what the cumulative infection level was this time a year ago, to get a better idea of the likelihood of extensive long term effects after the initial infection.
