Cheers for that @Fanny Fanackapan Yes a final series with 5 episodes released next week and the final 5 on 3 December. Frustrating, but seems to be the way atm as been left hanging on for the final episodes of Raising Kanan and the Godfather of Harlem on Starzplay.Fanny Fanackapan said:Apologies if it's been posted before but the long awaited 5th series of Money Heist will be aired next Friday on Netflix.
Can't wait !0 -
Incidentally for fans of ingenious Bank heists, like Money Heist, The Bank Job and the brilliant Inside Man, should catch The Vault, released today on Prime. About robbing the Bank of Spain. A good watch.3

Celebrity SAS Who Dares Wins... Love this show. So far, so good.1

Just seen this post, but watched The Vault this evening. Really enjoyed it and then straight into the new BBC series Vigil, which was very good too.bolloxbolder said:Incidentally for fans of ingenious Bank heists, like Money Heist, The Bank Job and the brilliant Inside Man, should catch The Vault, released today on Prime. Vigil is written by Tom Edge who also wrote Lovesick which is a bit of a contrast - lighthearted, poignant, kind of millennials do “This Life”. And some of it was filmed in our Glasgow flat.Lovesick still available on Netflix.2

I've not watched it for quite a few years now but I'm seriously thinking about starting from the beginning again in the winter.Big_Bad_World said:
Well, that's all changed. Currently on Season 4 Episode 13 (last of the season).orpingtonRED said:
I can't believe you aint watched Sopranos yet!Big_Bad_World said:
Seems that way. Managed to binge the rest of the 3rd season yesterday just to get to the end of it. 4th season due. Not sure I'll bother to be honest. Might as well put it down to experience and leave it open ended.SomervilleAddick said:
There have been a few of these - they show promise, but they need an end. Most of them don’t. They’ll just go on until they get canceled, and those that stick with it will end up disappointed because the answer was never revealed.Big_Bad_World said:
That's the one. I fear you made the right choice.Sillybilly said:
If that’s the one with the bloke with the bald head and an airplane full of dead folk,, I remember getting through about six or seven episodes before giving up.Big_Bad_World said:Manifest.
Very odd. Halfway through the 3rd season. Had a wobble during season 2 and not sure sticking with it was the right call
Alphas, the 4400 all went that way, this and Debris will do the same.
Sopranos or Gomorrah next I reckon.
Told you I was up for a challenge 😂
It's still probably my number 1 I'd say, a few have come close recently.0 -
Caught up with series 2 of King Gary. Didn't think it was as funny as the 1st.

Vigil…….hmmmmm….
I’ll watch tonight’s and then decide whether to continue with it.0 -
Recently rewatched it from start to finish for about the 4th time. Just as good, if not even better, every time.orpingtonRED said:

Suffered from a lack of winkle and nowhere near enough Simon Day.orpingtonRED said:Caught up with series 2 of King Gary. Didn't think it was as funny as the 1st.
I love Tom Davis, he gets that working class humour as he has lived the life but this series felt like it wasn't all his writing. Geoff Norcott has writing credits which surprises me as he is even more on the money than Tom Davis normally
Don't get me wrong it had some belly laughs but wasn't as good as the first series I agree1 -
They could have done more with the annoying neighbour character. Simon Day and the cat shit could of been great if expanded a bit.Carter said:

New series of Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing started last night. Perfect, relaxing Sunday night viewing.7

Vigil .. I do love a crippled submarine drama .. unbeatable for claustrophobic paranoia

Cheers for the recommendations guys. Enjoyed The Dig, Clickbait and White Teeth. Now for new series of Money Heist!.1

Finished it last night. Season 6 was a bit 'meh' if you ask me. As if they ran out of a story-line and plugged it with some weird symbolism nonsense. Fortunately it picked up after the salesman weirdness but, for me, had an awful ending. Junior could have, and should have, been utilised more as a character.orpingtonRED said:

Also, never watched anything and noticed so many continuity errors as I did with this.
Still, all in all a very good watch.0 -
Watched the 9/11 documentary with Bush in it. Fantastic viewing.
Hard not to feel angry at the end though. Such a pointless waste of life.1 -

Was a fascinating insight. I used to think he looked an idiot sitting there in the class when the fella comes in to say second plane has hit, but what thoughts must have been going through his mind.cafcnick1992 said:Watched the 9/11 documentary with Bush in it. Fantastic viewing.

The kind of series that makes you suspicious of almost everyone at one point or another with plot twist after plot twist.0 -
Cool - will give a go.Does it have an ending though or is it a cliffhanger that might not series two0

I thought Bush came out of that very well indeed. Showed himself to be a lot more of a leader than I’d remembered.MrOneLung said:

Anyone watched Animal Kingdom? Finished the first season and just started the second.
Quite enjoying it to be honest. Seems to have a weird/sinister undertone to it and plenty of little stories popping off in it all the time.
Interested to hear others' thoughts on it.1
