He has. But it was something I noticed in the euros, he really does have a regular tendency to have one half where he plays like one of the best midfielders around and another where he looks like he's never played football before. Denmark was the obvious game, looked like someone who had won a competition first half. Had a good tournament generally but it's weird how he's so poor for the occasional 45 mins. Not a terrible result. 1-1 away against a good polish side and top of the group. Bossed the second half and just sat too deep last 51

He's young and has plenty of itme but I'm not entirely sure we need to play 2 DM's against lesser opposition.
