  • 'Season' meaning 'series'. I guess it used to make sense in America when a 13 or 26 programme series would literally last a season, but it never worked in the UK where six programme sets are the norm. And it is completely meaningless in the modern era of binge watching.

  • Find it interesting when business bullshit words start to take hold in an organisation, then spread. So for example where I am:

    * landed- ‘that idea has really landed with me’
    * socialise- ‘it’s really important that we socialise the message’
    * glide path (gradual improvements over time)- ‘so what does the glide path on that look like?’
