What happened to the old days of getting autographs on shirts after games? Still if people want to pay these prices then good luck to them.

I’m stunned to be honest, this is something even Roland wouldn’t dream up.
I think we’ve seen in recent weeks/months how fans are viewed under this current ownership but this takes the biscuit.2 -
Haha. Shirts are worth less with this teams signatures on them. Would work ok in PL with plastic overseas fans, just don't see a market for these as we are today. Suspect 29 squad signed shirts to be on the sale racks at the end of the season.0

Personally, I'd say this is another "own goal" by our club.
I thought lessons had been learned following the negative feedback from the Early Bird season ticket "benefits".

Like it or not the club, unlike the museum, isn't a charity and if it can raise funds this way then fine
Personally, it's not for me but as a present for someone I can see the attraction to others.9 -

I'm not sure it's anything new. I have a signed ball from the early eighties. My dad bought it for me in the club shop. For some reason it has stuck in my mind that it cost him £8. I'm sure that would have been a fair bit then, though not as much as £75 now. I don't have a problem with the club selling autographed merchandise as long as there's still an avenue for fans to approach players directly.2
