But he doesn't have enough about him to make a difference4 -
It feels a shame that such a meaningful number (10) has been wasted this season.

He's not the world's worst player but has to do a lot more to secure a regular place.
He might play v Havant next week...or he might only make the bench. Either way, he needs to shine or he will be moved on. Things appear to have changed at Charlton....18 -

Albie is so far away from being a starter in any league one team let alone one with intentions of trying to get promoted. He always flatters to deceive and is just not consistent enough. He has been given more chances than I care to remember and the best thing for him would be to move on to lower leagues to try and get a regular starting place5

He's not good enough sorry to say. Needs to go out on loan to a L2 team with a view to a perm move.3

Agree - He should try his hardest to learn from Conor Gallagher, from work rate to awareness, intent, pressing, passing and shooting!0

Don't give up on Albie yet - there is a good player there
Its been a 'Mad ' start to the season - which is very long
I Genuinely feel we can still reach the playoffs and the squad including Alfie will be fully used -
Keep supporting him - he will come good3 -
I've never hidden my thoughts about how I've never thought he was good enough despite that I've always wanted him to do well since he came through the ranks and tbf he does always try his best. But agree above, he's been given plenty of chances especially this season. He may well still carve out a decent enough career but it might be best for all involved to move on.5

He's had so many chances but he's just not good enough. Maybe L2 is his level but not good enough for us.

I don't agree with the writing off of Morgan here. Yes he's got lost with the shambles of our team, but I'm sure he'll have plenty of game time in the next few months.1

he has had countless opportunities now and if we want to push on and progress as a team and look upwards in this league rather than down i really dont think he has what it takes unfortunately

It’s been said before but if he wasn’t our own he’d have been gone long ago.2 -
To say he has not come on seems a bit unfair. He seemed to listen to Bows and improve as a player as he became more defensively minded. He will carve out a reasonable career in football I think and would be interesting to see how he did in a Jacko team playing with more intensity and confidence.
However as said above he may we'll be behind many now and so not sure he will get the chance. Whatever happens with the lad he has always put the effort in for us imo and so I wish him well.0 -

Review in early Jan. If he is still not making match day squads take a loan in L1 or L2 and get a run of games somewhere. Then we can reassess as I don't want to write him off completely just yet.1

I personally wouldn't give up on Morgan yet, but he needs a league 2 loan in January. Having him sitting on the bench or in the stands is doing nothing for either him or us. He's contracted to summer 2023, so a 6 month loan will help us decide what to do with him. If he doesn't impress on loan then we can look to offload him in the summer. Loans worked for Grant and Doughty.
Ultimately though our ambition is obviously to get out of this league and into the championship and as with Lapslie, whilst you always want a homegrown player to do well, i just don't think Morgan is going to be good enough for where we want to be.2 -

I was going to say he’s an obvious one to sell or loan out in January but he’s not taking up one of the 22 spaces due to his age. He’ll be 22 later this season so I believe he will next season.
If he’s going to push on, and I now have big doubts, he needs regular game time. Like Lapslie he needs to move on to get that.
No doubt he’d do better under Jackson than Adkins, but putting him in for one of our CMs would mean losing one of the players who is a big reason for our improvement in the last two games.

He was given a fitness assessment on the pitch before yesterday's game. This was while the goalkeepers were warming up.1
