I'll put up a Match Thread shortly. Just give me a few minutes.

This site also seems to have ignored the match as we don't have a pre match thread, there will be players marks
Myself and @Sage made the decision not to cover Cup games at the start of this season, hence why there wasn't a write up for the AFC Wimbledon game prior to the League Cup, same with the EFL Trophy games.

Take 2018/19 for example, I had to write five threads talking about Doncaster - Gets very challenging, of course if anyone else wants to give Match Preview writing a go should we make the second round then they're more than welcome :)
@ForeverAddickted. Happy to have a go at becoming a specialist cup game previewer for CL. With our history, it’s never going to be a particularly heavy duty role.

Buxton FC win away at York City and in doing so, become the only seventh tier side confirming their place in the second round.

Other seventh tier teams that could join them:

    - Banbury Utd (playing now)
    - Stratford Town (playing tomorrow)

Looking forward to the pre match thread in the next round. 😉

And in true FA Cup fashion... the Buxton Manager: Steve Cunningham only took charge of the club on Tuesday after the previous Management team got replaced

Is it definitely 7pm? Some sources are saying it’s after the game.

Will it be a draw of two halves so ITV can go to the adverts  :#

Yeah just seen that the Mirror are saying that the draw will happen at the conclusion of the Dagenham tie.

Actually, your correct, after the Dagenham game about 21:30
  • Interest in a cup draw, so un-Charlton. Jackson out
  • What I Love about the FA Cup is how the powers that be think of the fans
Sheff Wed v Plymouth - 12.15 KO today
FFS and they say romance is dying

    ridiculous time.

impressed that Argyle have sold over 500 tickets for this game.
  • Nothing screams "Magic of the FA Cup" when the ITV commentary team feel the need to pause talking about the game they're at to bring Premier League news!!

Did anyone else hear the “ITV is talking shit” chant just now?

Wouldnt surprise me... Leeds fans against Sutton a few years ago could be heard chanting: "ITV is f**king shit"

Plymouth have an extra game before playing us in the league after drawing with Sheffield Weds in the cup.

    It could have been 19:45.
  • Oxford drew 2-2 with Bristol Rovers today.

Given the "big" clubs in League One all had home ties, its surprising that only Charlton and Portsmouth managed to avoid a replay or being knocked out.

All have faced lower league opposition as well apart from Sheffield Wednesday.

I think Portsmouth, Ipswich, Sheffield Wednesday and us are not postponed because of international call ups. Pressure of games will be racking up at some clubs.

St Albans currently doing a golfie against Forest Green Rovers on BBC2, but it's not half time yet, so anything could happen.
  • Good result for Stockport against Bolton plus 5000 away support...

And I jinxed them, as FGR equalised in first half stoppage time.
