The Football Association is investigating whether Exeter City used too many substitutes during their FA Cup win over Bradford City on Tuesday.
The Grecians, who went on to win the game 3-0 in extra time, changed five players during the goalless 90 minutes.
They then brought on Josh Key for Sam Nombe at the start of extra time.
Under FA Cup rules this season clubs can bring on five players during a game, including extra time, with a sixth allowed for a concussion.
"A review is due to take place following last night's FA Cup game between Exeter City and Bradford City at St James Park," Exeter City said in a statement.
"The matter will be considered by an FA committee and is in reference to the number of substitutions allowed during the match.

Stockport doing the ‘full Sunderland’ two own goals in the first 6 minutes and 2 of those minutes were getting a flare off the pitch0

Bolton spoil things for the neutral by going 2-0 up against Stockport within 6 minutes0

only the Bolton player chasing it down on the line stopped a hat trick of own goals0

Stockport gift another goal....0

After the Sarr and Phillips OG at Wembley I know it's hard for us to take the Micky but two Crazy mistakes by Stockport defenders which was comedy gold for all neutrals; and Bolton fans.0

2-3 cracking cup tie with plenty of dodgy defending, OG's, and chances being taken.3

Some real quality in the National League. Stockport should have won.Elthamaddick said:very impressed with Stockport second half, Quigley up front looked a real handful0 -
Stockport have a number of players who should be in L1 or L2. Quigley for example got 15 goals for Barrow in L2 last season. Madden was at L1 Fleetwood last season, Sarcevic joined from Bolton a few weeks ago.hoof_it_up_to_benty said:

Especially after scoring in front of the home end.

The reason there doesn't look much between the teams is Madden and Quigley dropped down to the national League for higher wages than they were getting.
4-3 Quigley with pass from Madden.1 -
Lovely finish from Quigley, 4-3, great cup tie.0
