How are sales in the away end going?0
-
I assume Norwich will sell the Jimmy Seed so I expect a few more than 10k as the attendance, more like 13/14k0

Airman Brown said:The same arguments are used to justify closure of the east stand but it looks as if there will be more people sitting there than many league games, albeit redistributed to the centre blocks. It is interesting that the UCE is the most popular area when we have bigger crowds but this doesn’t seem to be reflected at cup games where most people prefer to sit on the sides.
That said, people are analysing early sales, which are likely to be in premium areas. Given we all know it’s not going to sell out I would expect later sales to have a different pattern.0 -
DOUCHER said:Croydon said:Upper tier - J, K and G pretty full. The rest (bar L) aren't at 50%
Lower tier - sales are good across 3 of the blocks, but still a lot of seats available in B, C and F
We could have completely packed out 3 tiers for this match, and created a decent atmosphere. Instead we'll have 10k spread out and a shit load of empty seats on TV.

More generally, if you keep signalling to people that games are not important, you can’t be surprised if they take you seriously.4 - Sponsored links:

Doesn't look the right call as things stand. Not to me anyway.
For some reason though people had these big ideas of the game selling out.0 -

The following home game was Leeds I think? Nearly identical performance but this time Akpo Sodje popped up with a late header to win it for us.
I was at the Norwich away game in Sept 2014, that Jacko late winner was sweet!
Lived with a Norwich fan at uni and was also at that game at Carrow road but in the home end, a block or two away from Charlton fans.. fist pumped and ducked my head to try and play it safe when jacko scored.. looking back I wish I just jumped up to celebrate and got chucked out!
I have an irrational hate for Norwich, housemate was a twat.2 -
Norwich haven’t sold out. Tickets on the day, which suggests a significant shortfall.0

Of all the "cup upsets" they put in the polls, we had the biggest % of yes votes

Perhaps we get preferential treatment due to the Premier League opposition? That’s what I’ll be checking for. I don’t imagine ESPN+ will be too keen to have to stream Luton v Harrogate or Stoke v Leyton Orient on the same afternoon, for instance.0 -

Didn’t buy mine till last night, suspect a lot of people similarly now you can print at home leave it to the last few days in case you need to isolate etc. Circumstances are pretty unique at the moment.Hopefully quite a few unsure will decide to come along. It should be a good competitive game and a chance of an upset.5

Weather wise, Saturday looks shit but come Sunday people should be waking up to a dry and brighter day, feeling like they want to get out of the house and having seen Saturday’s fa cup highlights and results, including the one from the two numpties fighting it out down the road, seeing and hearing mention about the potential for another upset that day at Charlton they will fancy a trip to the Valley. Sunday could see a big walk up. That’s my theory anyway.0

That would be more than attended a number of our L1 home games and the announced figure will be pretty accurate.0
