Great effort lads, deserved more4

And someone that can take free kicks and corners.grumpyaddick said:
Very good effort and some good quality stuff.
Great performance. Deserved more.
Ran out of steam and options in the end.
Need a striker.3 -
Winnable game lost because of our attacking composure.
One of our best games in the first 2/3rds, one of the worst in the final third.
Norwich would not look out of place in League One and we would have beaten them with a better striker.5 -
Elliot Lee just has to get out of the way and CBT has an open goal to tap in a rebound.
But he decides the better idea is to try an overhead bicycle kick and totally fluffs it.
Greedy.2 -
Fuck sake, Lee has messed that right up1

Let's concentrate on mid table League One mediocrity.14

Chin up everyone.
Sounds like a really good performance despite losing.
And we're still off to wembley later this year in the PJT.0 -

Decent attempt from the lads. Lack of quality showed a bit. Norwich were very ordinary and we could definitely have got something.Anyone know the attendance?0
-
Lee should have left that0

Who's doing the tunnel jump today?
My money is in the ref.
Wanker.8 -
We outplayed them today, but one lapse at the back after Innis went off, left us open to a counter attack.
Krull kept them in it and we couldn’t find an opening.

Good performance overall, and as much as it would have been great if we equalised at the death, we can probably do without a replay...0
-
Problem is, Lee is not as good as he thinks he is. So he tries things and they don’t come off, because he’s not as good as he thinks he is…Chris_from_Sidcup said:Fuck sake, Lee has messed that right up2 -
The out of form team in the country rock up at the Valley, play like the out of form team in the country and still come away with the win... And a clean sheet. Don't care if we're a league one team. A look around the results this weekend suggests we should have put them away4

Thanks for the updates everyone.0

Do you not think we should have won then?lordromford said:

That said, coming away from the game feeling robbed isn't the worst outcome.
With a composed goalscorer, we'd have won (and we'd be on our way to the top 6).
Missed the first half, but thank you all for the updates...1 -

Frustrating that, great performance early on taking it to an underperforming and unconfident side and Jackson set us up perfectly to press them, just obviously wasteful to not really create any great chances from winning the ball that deep in their half that often.
Obviously we lost to a Prem side (well top Championship) so not going to kill them for it and was incredible commitment, but they were there for the taking.
Not really sure what Lee was thinking at the end there but I guess with the last chance of the game you go for any ball you have a shot at really.0 -
Painful to say, but could write the same comments after every single match.
Squad is not strong enough to deal with injuries, set pieces and our final ball is poor. Crying out for some goals from midfield which will make us much harder to play against. Proud of the showing, but we know what we need to improve.5 -
Probably could have done without Extra-Timelordromford said:

Didnt realise until someone mentioned earlier that we have Crewe on Wednesday1 -
Played really well, ran out of steam in the last 20 minutes though. I feel like we'd have won that with Stockley and Washington playing, although i was impressed again with Burstow.
Lee has to leave that chance at the end for CBT.

Didn't deserve to lose that, everyone lump on Norwich relegation, 100% nailed on based on that game, they are dire8

We are midtable in League One, we aren't going anywhere.
At least in the FA cup we could have had something to look forward to.7 -
It’d just be nice if you didn’t keep repeating the same old thing and revelling in our failure to score. It’s tiresome and unhelpful.SELR_addicks said:
