anyway .. Josh Magennis to Wigan, that was already mooted on here .. gives Wigan a very strong set of strikers .. quite a few L1 clubs bringing players in .. Plymouth, MK Dons, Lincoln, Crewe, Bolton1

League One ins (correct as of yesterday?):
- Accrington: x1 loan

Almost halfway through the window and we are one of nine clubs without any sort of incoming so far alongside Crewe, Ipswich, Oxford, Portsmouth, Rotherham, Sheff Wed, Wigan and Wycombe.
Of the entire league of 24 teams, only eight clubs have a permanent transfer: Bolton, Burton, Cheltenham, Doncaster, Fleetwood, Lincoln, Plymouth, Sunderland

the lack of perm deals must indicate how little money there is to spend down in the lower divisions .. the pandemic and closed grounds has cost clubs loads of cash .. also, is the quality of available players up to scratch ?0 -

The website I pulled from has Liam Cullen listed as a permanent but I see it's actually a loan deal. I didn't cross check every transfer, I assumed the website source would be right. My mistake. :-)Lincsaddick said:

Yes, seen him enough to know the level he’ll now be playing at is his true level. His only really been successful in England in League Two bar one half decent season last year. Doesn’t make him a good player or anywhere near the standard we should be going for.Lincsaddick said:

Notice whenever anyone goes against your opinions, you have nothing to back yourself up except insults.
Maybe take some of your own advice for a change and stick to writing something you actually know about, you sad, sad man.9 -

Not really true though there’s been 77 incoming transfers made already in League One. We account of 0% of them.Isawsummersplay said:As it is for most teams.
"We're just like everyone else.....no-one's bringing in players"
"Errr.......take a look as I think some clubs have - just not us"

Where did you get 77 from? That's an average of 3.34 transfers per side spread out across the other 23 teams in our league.Maccn05 said:

The list I posted above clearly has some errors in it / slow to update by a day or so but I count 25 which is a massive difference to 77.0 -
Much friendlier on the other thread.2

I'd like to bet no one within the Burnley camp feels that way, least of all Sean Dyche. They've lost their main striker to a relegation rival at a time when their top scorer Cornet is away at AFCON.North Lower Neil said:
Burnley have done well there hpldomg out for the release clause - he's not been as good this season as others, for a start.killerandflash said:Confirmed Wood to Newcastle and Digne to Villa, both £25m
4 good years out of him, £10m profit at 30.
Need to replace him though.
If Burnley go down they'll lose a few more players (Cornet, Tarkowski, McNeil etc) and i think they'll struggle to get back up.0 -
Jonson Clarke-Harris is leaving Peterborough in the window. Sunderland look like getting him. Sandgaard should go all out in getting JCH. If we can get him and a sharp goal poacher the rest of the squad will feel it worth running for an hour and a half twice a week. Currently they do not have that.
1 -

If you were him though, what possible reason would you have to choose us over them? They can probably pay him more and they're in the promotion hunt.ValleyOfTears said:Jonson Clarke-Harris is leaving Peterborough in the window. Sunderland look like getting him. Peterborough have denied the rumours though and even if they did sell, i think the price they'd want for him would rule out a league one club. MacAnthony won't sell cheap.1
