I think some were talking about this lad on Friday… maybe it’s happening after all ☺️
Would be quite pleased with that.

How many loan spaces do we have? Could we send Swindon Davison instead

Great leap from a smallish defender

  • Both Wimbledon and MK Dons have already signed young loan strikers from PL clubs, Terry Ablade from Wimbledon and Theo Corbeanu from Wolves respectively

Under 21, so not covered by the squad size rules
  • Meanwhile Bowyer has a new PL loan midfielder to work with, Taylor Richards from Brighton. He did very well for Doncaster last season

Kyle Dempsey linked with Bolton. Would he prefer a move back to the North West?

Wonder if we will go back in for Tucker and Oliver at Gillingham .. both targets in the summer only to be quoted over a million for each … now with Gillingham where they are in the league and a tax bill that now due reckon we could get both for 700,000 now …
My Gills mate tells me the reason Tucker hasn't been so good this year is he's been played more as a midfielder.  Strange if that's the case

I think I’d genuinely bring Josh Parker back on a contract until the end of the season if we can’t get another striker in, I thought Burstow did well against Norwich but our bench looks severely light with striker options

Blimey mate, just when I thought we couldn't sink any lower
  • Dempsey is 26. Oliver is 30. With both likely to be available for sale then neither fall into the category of experienced loanee or young project.  Maybe Tucker but we have other positions we need to strengthen more I would suggest.

If Bolton get Dempsey alongside Charles they have had a great start to the window, they also have two other players I know little about.  Their season is as dead as ours so how come they are brining in players and spending?

0 goals in his last 32 league appearances, yes he's just what we need to progress!

Where is he even playing now?

Might be one to keep an eye on , not sure why it hasn't worked out for him at Blackpool .

Planning for next year I guess. These are the two players I most wanted us to sign, both will represent great value. Charles was being touted around for £1m+ in the summer and went for approx. £200k and Dempsey will be about the same if not lower due to his contract and he had Championship interest.

Great business by them and the kind of decisive action I wish we took. 33% into the window and not even a rumour for us.

Always suspected he was one of those players who played a decent game V's us so got a bit over-hyped on here.  Not great stats save for last season. Not seen much of him so not an informed judgement though.

Wonder what'll happen with Tom Lowery @ Crewe this month - He's back in the team (one to watch tomorrow), yet still hasnt signed a new deal so its Crewe's last opportunity to get some proper cash for him

Rumors' that Dale has a questionable attitude. Talented but I'd rather Lowery tbh.

Not with anyone, and has been injured
  • A number of the names floating on here only had one year of high level success - Dale, Dion Charles, Tucker, - even Oliver dint really have many goals him until last year.  Not surprising a couple of them might be one year wonders

or maybe Humphrys would be surplus to requirements
  • Swansea have signed Mk Dons keeper Andrew Fisher. Bad news for MKD and also for current Swansea keeper Ben Hamer...

I was always a bit disappointed that the arrival of Lyle Taylor meant the departure of Josh Magennis as he's a decent player in L1, as shown by his 18 goals last season for Hull. I'd much rather have kept him than Vetokele.

Taylor going to Millwall really would be the last nail in that coffin… but imagine the Shithousing he’d get up to at that club

Yeah but he never played for them. Going there after the contract stuff would send our fans over the edge.

Its probably where he learnt the shithousery

Josh, KAG, Taylor and Igor would have been outstanding.  Shame Igor was the center foward version of Inniss.
