  • Lewis Bate, who people speculated was the one Doucher knew about, starts for Leeds today
  • Familiar face in the boardroom today apparently. No idea who.

Is it a reference to the photo of Thomas on the wall.

    Sign a fucking striker FFS

More like sign someone who can take a corner.

Is it? - You're aware of the work going on in the background are you?

Did we not sign one in the summer then? Seemed easy then.

Getting Stockley and Washington back will help. One of them may have been on hand to put a chance away today but unfortunately that's the way it goes when your two best forward options are out at the same time.

Have to be looking at getting in someone who can take a consistent set piece delivery. I am less and less convinced by what Elliot Lee brings to the table every week.

Said before that Lee would be ideal as a squad player at this level. He’s got a decent return in assists and is often involved when we’re creating chances.

At the moment he’s guaranteed his place in the team because Morgan and Watson aren’t good enough to challenge his place.
  • Attacking LWB who can take a dead ball would be nice. Purrington is lovely but a bit lost in the final third with the ball (attacking the back post all well and good but etc, he'd be ideal bench cover for a few roles)
  • Tricky one with Elliot Lee. I like him but wouldn’t break the bank on fee or wages.
This against a backdrop of his dad saying on Charlton TV that at EL’s age, he’s looking for a decent deal.

The problem is we went into a season with only 2 senior strikers this was bound to happen.

it’s been said before but it’s criminal that a replacement for Chuks wasn’t signed in the summer and the club tried to convince us Davison was that replacement.
  • I think some were talking about this lad on Friday… maybe it’s happening after all ☺️

Danny Andrew is a bit older than ideal but fits the mould perfectly. Cultured left foot, great set pieces and a leader in the dressing room. 6 goals and 6 assists from left back this season. Was part of the Doncaster team that lost in the play-off semi final three seasons back.

I wouldn’t mind us taking Paddy Lane off Fleetwood as well. Best assists per minute in the league. Always puts in dangerous crosses. Stockley would love him to bits.

Christ he's 31 - Far to old to be signed, he should just retire

We need some more of these as well, too many sheep and not enough shepards.

Plymouth's Garrick looked good the other week

    Garrick? Only loan from Swansea.
  • Maybe loan has to be our route here too

We'd have to ship others out first, especially if a Striker is number one priority

As they'll take Arter's place in the team; Forster-Caskey will take Schwartz's

I feel the whole Squad Registration limit is being completely over looked by a number of people
  • Morgan will go out on loan as well.
  • Morgan will go out on loan as well.
Morgan doesnt count towards the registration rules... Not this season anyway
  • Is there really any point breaking the bank for players now, when the season is virtually over? I know some will say we are 6 points from relegation but this team is more than good enough to survive that. Think we should just save it all until the summer.
  • If Clare is happy playing in that role we really need to get rid of Gunter or Matthews. One of them as a reserve but having two is just a waste of a squad space.

Unfortunately need to find someone to take one of them (Would prefer to keep Matthews)

Cant see us terminating deals, wont look good trying to sign anyone

We have got a lot of players that others would bite your hand off for but not on the wages we are paying them.
