on a thread they shall not be named, someone has posted that we’re after a CDM, but no name given…0

Did they nick that rumour from our very own Doucher?KiwiValley said:on a thread they shall not be named, someone has posted that we’re after a CDM, but no name given…See other transfer thread for details.1 -
Last night ITV claimed that Payne was ' sought after ' .
A morning google search came up with this . Apparently he has a free transfer clause in January . MKD ,Wigan and Wycombe are mentioned as possible destinations .
Swindon Town's Jack Payne a transfer window target for Wigan Athletic and Wycombe Wanderers | Swindon Advertiser

Rak-Sakyi of Palace impressed me in the pre season friendly . Left footed player .Could he be worth a loan approach ?0

It because they are comparatively rare, they add natural balance to the team.DDOUBLEE said:

Currently we are predictable from set plays because we only have right footed players taking them apart from the injured JFC. For example Kirk is an inverted right footed winger. This means he can't be converted to Wing Back to fit our new system. We saw how playing the right footed Gunter at left back affected us going forward.
Interestingly the last time I felt we lacked this sort of balance, the player we signed to address the issue was Johnnie Jackson.0 -
Chuks has come on as a sub in the FA Cup for Brum.0

Insigne signed for Toronto. 11m a year!0

Poor bloke is going to miss the final and have to watch Kirk, Gunter and Matthews walk up and collect their winners medals.Richard J said:Chuks has come on as a sub in the FA Cup for Brum.15 -
Madness. He’s only 30 and gone off to the MLS graveyard already. Mind you, one year there and he still has 3 or 4 years to go somewhere else.ValleyGary said:Insigne signed for Toronto. 11m a year!0 -
Crazy money when you look at the rest of their squad. Entire squad wage bill is $26m.
https://soccerprime.com/toronto-fc-player-salaries/
All of their squad apart from 3 players earn $750k a year or less. Insigne will be on $15m!! He'll earn more in a week than SIXTEEN of their squad do in a year.1 -

But that’s because he isn’t a wing back at all. If he was, we could consider him at RWB.Richard J said:

They are at a premium. For example, there's no way Man City would have forked out 41 Mil on Nathan Ake if he was right-footed.cafcfan1990 said:

From what I can gather it’s a life-changing amount for Insigne so good luck to him.
double your money and have an easier job - who would say no. He’s no spring chicken now0 -
Lewis Hall, left footed young centre back. Was excellent today for Chelsea on the left of the 3.
When Famewo doesn’t play we really miss a lot down that side.
Not saying to sign him this window, but he’s one Gallen should be looking at for next season.6 -

Another one from the Chelsea game but this time from Chesterfield. Kabongo Tshimanga.
Striker who was a constant threat to the Chelsea defence today. He was strong, quick, and very agile.
Scored 18 in 20 for Chesterfield this season in the league, scored 22 for Boreham Wood last season.
Looks a talent like someone who could step up. Only 24 so time for development yet.
Anyone able to get Gallen on the blower for these two players so he at least knows about them?10 -

My point is that DJ, CBT and Leko have all been utilised as RWB's. Kirk made his name at Crewe as a left winger with the left footed Pickering playing alongside him at left back .
The reason I throw left footed names into the mix is because we are short in this department. Despite his pin point cross in the Pizza Cup I feel Souare needs replacing.
I now think we need to identify players for an 18 month window.2 -
Not sure that’s true. Home grown players tend to go for more anyway. They paid 50 for Stones a few years ago and 100 for Grealish. Think it’s just coincidence personally as I don’t think many of the big Prem clubs are bothered about which foot they are.DDOUBLEE said:

Watching Soccer Saturday today I heard of at least 4 players who scored on their debuts after being transferred during the week.
I was a striker from Pompey.1 -

As far as I am concerned he would be perfect to see us through the season.
