    A month ago we wouldn't have laughed that off. If Stockley and Washington had stayed fit in January, and with Aneke added, Burstow would have struggled for game time and a 5 month loan might have seemed like a good idea (similar to the Karlan loan at Crawley which set him up for the following season)

    Sometimes you just have to do what was right, which we did.

    Absolutely yes.

    I believe he’s also been doing some coaching to hasn’t he, contributing while not playing

    I mentioned that  to Burstow that @Leuth had made the threat and that was the main reason he decided to hand a transfer request in. He wants to move to happen tonight.

    Absolutely yes.

    I believe he’s also been doing some coaching to hasn’t he, contributing while not playing 
    So it was his fault we lost all those games then  ;)

    Imo yes totally. Whatever happens in the future the club did the right thing. The alternative action would be justification for players like Taylor to take the stance he did. Sometimes you have to do the right thing purely because it is the honorable thing to do

    Mason Burstow is barely 19 and a half.
    He has still development potential, let him grow.
    But a loan to Leyton Orient will be no better than bobbling around our first team as he is doing at the moment.

    6 in 14 now, most of the 14 were appearances from the bench too, at what point do we consider him to be a wonder kid?  Or at least, our wonder kid.
