  • Doncaster really are poor this season, when you think how close there were to the playoff final in 2019

It's not historically unusual for the team that lost the play off final to be close to relegation the next season.  If we had we would possibly have been.

Great results for us tonight.  Probably down to 15 points needed.

    Doncaster 0-5 Rotherham FT
    Gillingham 1-0 Crewe FT

Doncaster's slide has been more gradual. Each season they've got worse!

And they're not like one of those overachieving small sides who have one good season, then lose their best players and manager

My Doncaster supporting mate, yes I know, says its just a gradually reducing wage bill.
  • Accrington today scored all 4 goals from set pieces, Sean McConville with 3 assists (2 corners and 1 fk) and a goal from a fk!

We play them in a month's time, defend like we currently do and it will be a painful afternoon

    Burton 2-0 Bolton (Powell 11’, Brayford 14’)

Wigan v Crewe & Doncaster v Lincoln both goalless.

    Half time: 3-0, 0-0 and 0-0.

Also three nil nil half time scores in the Championship. Burton the only one able to score goals this evening.
  • Burton finding it easy against Bolton tonight. 3-0 HT. Two goals following corners. We really must do better from set plays. Not taking opportunities others are finding easy.

That's a ridiculous scoreline when you look at recent form, with Bolton in promotion form and Burton struggling!

Lincoln 0-1 Doncaster (Gardner 75' (pen))

There was a long stoppage due to a medical emergency in the crowd.
  • Not in L1, but Harrogate were 3-1 up at Exeter after 64 minutes, but Exeter scored 3 late goals to win 4-3, the winner after 90+5!
  • Lincoln lose so suits us.

How low have we sunk that we are celebrating the fact that Lincoln have stayed 4 points below us in the lower reaches of League 1.

Notice that Lewis Page played 89mins for Harrogate tonight.

Great to see that he's had such a consistent season

I hadn't realised he'd gone there. Strange to choose to leave Exeter, and go oop north to a smaller club

Think it got mentioned on here that Harrogate spent some cash in the summer, so wonder if Exeter couldnt compete.

They've had a disappointing season if so, given they're 15th and 10-pts from the Play-Offs
