  • Alex Neil to Sunderland .. started off his career with a real bang .. not been so hot lately .. this job will be a make or break for him and possibly for Sunderland for the foreseeable future
  • Only given a rolling 12 month contract.

Sensible I think - particularly with the way they go through managers. More teams should do it. To many managers get big contracts and don’t really give a shit if they do well or not.
  • Stephen Glass has left his position as Aberdeen manager after less than a year at the Pittodrie helm.

The 45-year-old former Dons player replaced Derek McInnes in March 2021.

Aberdeen sit ninth in the Premiership, with eight wins from 25 matches, and were knocked out of the Scottish Cup at Motherwell on Saturday.

He should have stayed @ Morecambe
  • I always feel that Derek Adams is too pleased with himself.

Not exactly a shock, 2 points from 10 games and on a current run of 7 straight defeats. Also got dumped out of the cup by 6th tier Kidderminster.

Bradford baffle me, how can they have been stuck in L2 midtable for so long (and even after Parky got them promoted during that golden period, they didn't stay up for long). At that level they're a giant, yet the likes of Cheltenham, Accrington and Morecambe have overtaken them.

Even more so that when they came up to League One, they were fighting around the Play-Offs

    Good appointment I think.
Agreed. To me a bit of a step down from his previous job at Newport, when he might have been hoping for a L1 club

Exactly. Us, Sunderland, Ipswich and Sheff Weds in league one, whilst Luton, Peterborough and blackpool are in the Championship

I have either lived or worked in Bradford (funny enough never both at the same time, unless you count working from home) for over a decade.  It's not dissimilar to Leeds where I have also lived and worked for 20 years, some at the same time :p

Massive potential, when Parky was there the whole city was rocking, might as well have shut the shop when they played Villa.

Anyone that gets it right there will be a hero.

Poor you! That’s about Bradford by the way, Leeds is alright.

Depends where in Bradford.  If you live near the football ground 😳😳

The area outside the city is lovely.

Nearly 20 years since he managed Millwall, his career never recovered from that stain ;)
  • Steve Evans favourite for Bradford job.
  • St Mirren have granted manager Jim Goodwin permission to speak to Aberdeen about becoming their new boss.

    Now appointed
  • Reading Manager (not going to spell it) has left... Paul Ince has been named as his Interim replacement
  • Not the first time Ince has taken over a team after then sign his son.

Was expecting the sacking, wasn't expecting Ince to arrive. He's not managed since 2014

Weird timing too, as they sacked him after they actually won a game
