Hearing your huge shout for Ballyandy @PaddyP17PaddyP17 said:1.30 - Bob Olinger but prob no bet
2.10 - Ballyandy a huge e/w shout in my opinion. Love that horse and he's loved the step up in trip this year. Sire du Berlais to win (fav for good reason)
2.50 - Allaho but no bet
3.30 - Thyme Hill after he got squeezed when going well in the AB. Think McCoy was gunning for Champ. Royal Kalaha not a bad call either. Prob not one I'll poke at e/w
4.10 - Grand Paradis e/w (bit thin but yeah, rather profit), little bit on Chinwag at long odds
4.50 - was on Brandy Love but obviously no longer. Bit crap how it's unfolding. I'll have Say Goodbye e/w, maybe Love Envoi too as best of the British
5.30 - Frontal Assault (win, but at 7s I'll go e/w); I'll also have Chambard e/w at the prices
My e/w shilling is down.
- Course/festival form (I tipped e/w for I think it was the 2019 Coral Cup at like 20s where he was leading over the last hurdle but William Henry stormed through to win, BA 3rd);
- Two wins on soft/heavy (only 2 runs at the trip);
- Runs well in big fields;
- That ludicrous season where he was never more than 4.5L out the frame;
- Combined 24L wins in last two outings.
I could be wrong and I often am but I'm rarely this taken by a poke2 -
Wow, can't believe that. Wouldn't like to be the guy who had 25 Grand on Gallopin.1

I think that L'Homme Presse would have beaten them both.1

Paul Townend needs shooting for that. Just get him over.0
-
Just steady him in and pop him over.

Sums up my week so far0

Me too. Was going to lay my bet back in running when it went short. Thought - what's the point it's jumping like a stag as it did the last before buckling a stride later. £40K was matches at 1.01 so at least I have the comfort of knowing that I didn't put on £20K on it to win £200!!!!0

Get in hahaha

That's too easy to say. If he had gone for a short one and ended up on the deck you'd have slagged him for that.ValleyGary said:Paul Townend needs shooting for that. Just get him over.
The best ever jockey at Cheltenham, Ruby Walsh, ended up on the deck at the last many times. It happens. Can't always blame the jockey.5 -

The ITV is great 😂0 -
Anyone that bets at 1.01 in a jump race deserves to lose.Addick Addict said:Me too. Was going to lay my bet back in running when it went short. That was crazy, looked so comfortable all the way round and made an error on the last. My fault i half was thinking one of them would have a fall which probably helps out a few bookies, Got the single on sky but would have preferred the fave to win for a few doubles.0
-
To be fair I'm not sure that Galopin made a real mistake. Ballooned a few early doors but after that was pretty clean. The fall was a slip and I'm sure if the ground hadn't been as it is then he would have won by an even further margin.Lincsaddick said:

Galopin is favourite and a best price 4/1 for the GC next year whereas L'Homme Press is available at 12/11 -
Folcano for me here0

Fast picture merchants or tracksiders. They obviously pressed the button once Galopin cleared the last. They are the first to nick money but when that happens they have nowhere to go.superclive98 said:

I honestly give up another 2nd

Well that was thoroughly disappointing. Sorry anyone who was convinced...!0
-
Fuck me I was going to have Third Wind and Honest Vic as Wild Risk & Bold Ruler combos but then thought, nah, it only works on a sounds surface.

School Boy Hours in the Kim Muir has that combo - scouring for others.0 -

I think he was another disadvantaged by that nasty fall. Looked like he was staying on alongside the fav up the Hill.PaddyP17 said:Well that was thoroughly disappointing. Sorry anyone who was convinced...!

stewards enq .. PADDY Brennan being very honest .. should be no change

there you go0

Taking on the fav with Conflated - should be going in the GC but no matter.
PS Hmm, looked like tactics were to ride for 2nd - might have got that but for the fall but no flies on the brill winner1 -
See what happens when you don't go for it at the last, you nearly mess it up.1

Yet again, it looked like the field were riding their horses for 2nd place which is really frustrating. Understand that they didn't want to take Allaho on pace wise but, as the saying goes, you can give weight but not distance and the exertions of Conflated having to make up ground from the back will have taken its toll to the extent that it might not have been 2nd even if he had stood up.

Flooring Porter and Royal Kahala e/w in the next.
Stolen Silver and Chinwag e/w in the 16:10.0 -
If you couldn't have your preferred jock in the GC and you didn't fancy your OR168 horse to even put down a challenge to Allaho, then skip the Festival altogether and take him to Aintree for the 3m Grade 1.Addick Addict said:PeanutsMolloy said:Taking on the fav with Conflated - should be going in the GC but no matter.

I seem to fancy the horse more than his connections - certainly more than the owner.1 -
God I love Paisley Park. Horse absolutely gives everything. Nice place.1

Get in Flooring Porter
