    That would be ideal, but the fact we're still going to have Stockley, Aneke, Gilbey etc on our books means it's not gonna be this big rebuild we desperately need
    The other pointer was “2-5 signings and some loans”.

    we haven’t had a loanee worth playing, and 2-5 could be just 2 new players.  Even with 5 there’s not enough to cover the clear out needed.

    also - who are these great players that want to join this team and why do we assume our recruitment is anywhere near capable of getting them?

    I actually wish Jackson hadn’t taken the job to be honest - it’s just going to end sour.  He is clearly out of his depth and hasn’t got the nous to sort it out - mind you, that group of players - shameful.

    Under minimal pressure (closest oppo was probably 10 yards away) Clare has managed to place a 20-yard backpass to the keeper about 15 yards wide to concede a corner.
