Bottom of the table looks like this...

    19. Morecambe P44 PTS42 GD-28
    20. Gillingham P44 PTS40 GD-30
    ---
    21. Fleetwood P43 PTS39 GD-17
    22. Wimbledon P44 PTS36 GD-25
    23. Doncaster P44 PTS34 GD-47 (will be relegated, six points off with two to play & goal difference is shocking)

    Morecambe:
    MK (A)
    Sunderland (H)

    Gillingham:
    Portsmouth (A)
    Rotherham (H)

    Fleetwood:
    Wimbledon (H)
    Sheff Wed (H)

    Accrington (H)

  • Gillingham 0-0 Fleetwood FT
Big missed opportunity for both sides

So which two clubs join Doncaster (they're not making up that GD) and Crewe?

Got a feeling it'll be Wimbledon and Morecambe
  • Fleetwood arent exactly taking advantage of the fact that they've had games against Gillingham and Wimbledon (yet to come) in their hopes of survival.
Huge game Saturday, Fleetwood v Wimbledon.

Gillingham's last 2 are against Portsmouth and Rotherham.

Fleetwood have a game in hand and a better goal difference.

Can't see Morecambe getting points out of MK and Sunderland...

Gills maybe a point at best from Pompey and Rotherham.

Fleetwood v Wimbledon at the weekend will be massive for both. Fleetwood win and they stay up? Wimbledon win and they will believe that they can go back-to-back against Accrington to stay up.

I think you are probably looking at 43 for guaranteed safety at this point so a win for Gillingham or a draw for Morecambe from their tough fixtures is probably enough for them.
  • Other than Fleetwood vs Wimbledon, I can easily see the strugglers losing all their remaining matches, or maybe just getting 1 draw.

If Wimbledon win that game, then Accrington looks winnable, but it's getting that first win which is the issue
  • Wimbledon 1-1 Wycombe
    Wimbledon just cannot win

Six points separate 2nd and 7th with three games left. A very rare situation. Should be an exciting week.
  • With their GD, 2 wins out of 3 should be enough for Rotherham. Given their current form though i certainly wouldn't bet on them.
  • Will 75 points still get us 6th.....🙄
  • Well in 17 of the last 15 years it has so yes 🙄
just need to win 7 of our last 2 games and we’ll be on 77 points so should make the play offs , it’s still on
Sue Purb. Definitely be there for those last 2 games & hope to see 7 more wins....🤭
  • If Fleetwood don't win against Wimbledon I think they will drop.  Sheff Wed are in form and still have a chance of auto promotion so they are not going to rest players worrying about play off's.  Bolton away last game not easy even though Bolton have nothing to play for.

Wigan look nailed on for promotion but pretty tight for the second spot and the play off places. Could be interesting and I wouldn't like to predict the outcome. Teams desperately want to win their last home game, even if they technically have nothing to play for.

Sunderland lead 3-1 and are up to sixth. Meanwhile Rotherham are losing again.

If they can beat Rotherham in midweek, they’ll be level on points with them and in with a chance of automatics.

    Likewise Sheff Wed.

You could have a four way chase (MK, Rotherham, Sunderland, Sheff Wed) for automatic promotion next weekend.
  • Wimbledon leading at Fleetwood, but can't hold onto a lead
  • Rotherham have an equaliser just before half time.
