Their slump in recent weeks is really surprising, considering how used they and their manager are to getting promoted from this division, every other season!

5 points from their last 7 games is a serious slump.
Not only in danger of blowing automatic promotion, but if they continue as they are there's an outside chance they might even miss out on the play offs. 4 tough games to come and then they go to Gillingham on the last day who might need points to stay up.
I'm sure they'll be ok, but if they don't win either of their next 2, then the pressure will really be on ahead of Oxford and Sunderland.

I'd be concerned that even if they make the playoffs (which I'd expect them to do), they'll arrive in by far the worst form of any of the 4 sides.
3 losses in a row against Shrewsbury, us and Pompey.
Have to agree Cambridge by far the better side. 2 up at the league leaders, Wigan look crap. Hope JJ is watching, if he's not there in person. Tuesday could be really difficult! Sam Smith looks useful and took his goal well, 19th of the season!
What's the record points total required to secure 6th spot and a play off place?
Just seen that Sunderland are 6th with 76 points and have 4 games left. Sheff Weds can match that if they win tonight.
Pretty impressive total considering Oxford pipped us to 6th with 74 points last season.
And many on here a few months back were wetting themselves and aiming for 75 points when we went on a mini run (not the 15 game one that is about to end for MK mind).

82 points. Stoke City in 1999/2000. 81 points. Cardiff City in 2002/2003. 80 points. Huddersfield Town in 2009/2010.
This season could be a record for 6th place, most definitely.
It’s incredibly rare that there is a season such as this one where there is such a big difference between the top six seven eight and the relegation battlers.
A record high points tally for play offs usually means a record low points total for the bottom end of the table too.
MK have three tricky games to contend with while Rotherham still have four to go. Both have two tricky tests (Oxford, Plymouth for MK & Oxford, Sunderland for Rotherham).
It could be the points Rotherham are likely to gain against Gillingham and Burton that put them clear.

On the other hand, Rotherham have struggled against the poorer teams...as shown a week ago...

Feels as though the wheels have come off slightly for the home side though.
Just cant score
Currently leading 0-1 @ the DW Stadium
Ironic seeing its FA Cup day, did you know that Dave Whelan once broke his leg?
Edit: Make that 0-2 now... Its not a smash and grab either

Watching the FA cup game today, both TAA and Grealish overhit corners

Barry Bannon is only 1 shy of Washington's goal tally & 2 off Stockley's .
This must be bloody rare!!
