Jack Leach withdrawn from Test match and a concussion replacement will be announced shortly. Parkinson?

    He certainly does.
Couldn't of come at a better time what with the amount of injuries our fast bowlers have.

From a fall in the field? I just googled him and he had a freak accident at home, where he fainted and hit his head, left him with a fractured skull and concussion which ruled him out of much of the 2015 campaign. So he may be being treated with even more caution?

They said that he was showing signs of concussion. They asked him what the score and he said it was 12-4 at which point they decided he clearly wasn't right.

Think we might see some fireworks soon as these two might not want to just bat time.

Think @Leuth might be pleased about that. Not that he's likely to get a bowl in the near future!

I would have picked Parkinson in the first place but at 30 odd for 6 I might have been tempted by Bess as in theory a like for like but as a specialist batsman.  I don't think Parkinson will be called on to do much bowling.

Parkinson is nowhere near the ground anyway, so I doubt he'll get to bowl this innings!

I doubt he, or any spinner, will be bowling on the 4th or 5th day.......

Saggers although he actually came through Durham's system so add him to your list.

Potts' action is very much like Ben Stokes' .. doubtful if Stokes wasn't England's skipper Potts would have got selected

Parkinson will likely be in for the next Test now too, hopefully he can also a Labuschagne, come in as a concussion substitute and not look back.

I didn't know where to put Saggers for the reason you suggest because Durham produced him in his informative years but he made his England debut while at Kent. Conversely, one could tentatively argue that Ollie Robinson was produced by Kent as he was part of their academy but he went to Yorkshire before making his England debut while at Sussex. So I ended up putting neither on there and just included those that came through and were still at the county when they made their England debut.
