Congratulations Ademola Lookman

Personally I think he needs to settle down somewhere. It's a bit concerning why he keeps moving. Why would Leicester be happy to move him on?

Can think of worse places to play football than Bergamo, looks like a lovely city and some of the surrounding countryside and the alpine lakes are beautiful

i've not heard anything of AL's attitude but when a quality player bounces around this much i do wonder if it's them that's the reason for it

General perception in his career so far has been that he's a nice lad but an absolutely terrible trainer. He generally trains badly, gets a rocket, perks up for a few weeks and then reverts, after which point managers give up on him. He's not consistent enough on the pitch to offset his lack of application off it either

That's a shame.

Just came off the bench to score on his Serie A debut for Atalanta.

Typical Lookman debut. Hope he's still scoring goals from them this time next year.

Having seen it, it was a typical Lookman goal. Reminds me of him scoring away at Brighton, was clear he had that composure and finishing ability.

Great finish. He still looks so small!

Bergamo is a lovely place. Much nicer than Milan.

I do find it odd that you get booked for running to your own fans and taking your shirt off as it could incite someone, but you don't if you leave your shirt on and run directly at the opposition fans and celebrate in front of them which does cause confrontation.

That said, Lookman may have celebrated near the opposition fans but I cant see how that was a deliberate attempt to wind them up.

Weird/poor decision by the ref.

I was there last night and in Manchester last week. It rained constantly yesterday and a poor Salernitana were dismantled by Boga, Lookman and Højlund. It was actually one of Ade's quieter games but he is generally seen as Atalanta's most potent player. Panini choose him as 'shiny' for the Album this year which tells you all you need to know. He is beautifully both footed.

In other news Højlund is the best teenager I have seen. And I saw most of Bowyers games for us, he really was truly outstanding. Højlund however has it all. Strong, rapid, brave and although left footed has a decent enough right foot. He will go right to the very very top. Keep an eye on him.
