  • This what I am currently wearing, a Tissot T-Complication Squelette.
I‘m really into Tissot at the moment.
I like their SeaStar models and will be getting one of those next.

My latest. Picking it up tomorrow.
Fantastic choice. Would love one if it wasn’t too big for my tiny wrists.

The new Pelagos 39 looks fantastic too, but already waitlisted.

I have pretty skinny wrists -but I think it looks ok.

I did look at the 39 (just released) - but I really wanted the date function.

  • Sorry to be the prophet of doom but these figures are staggering.

Scotland Yard revealed over the summer that there had been 621 watches snatched between January and July, almost double the number reported in the same period in 2021.

Wearing an expensive watch in London has become a dangerous thing to do (and I'm sure other cities).

Strange, because most of the bastards who steal them can’t even tell the time.

    Today’s addition.

Longines Spirit 40mm auto with khaki dial.

Was looking for a simple aviation style watch. Would have loved an IWC-but couldn’t quite stretch to that.

I’m seriously considering the 37mm version. Fantastic watches for the money.
  • My dream watch is the rose gold Day-Date with the olive green dial. Obsessed with it.

I mostly wear my Samsung Galaxy smartwatch nowadays for the functionality but rotate on occasion with my Seamaster:

I do like watching, send me the time and the address, do I need to bring my own tissues?

In all seriousness, I do like watches but not the type that are for people who have small penises, you know watch face the size of your fist and with big metal strap and can you tell the time in every language around the globe and can tell you the temperature on Pluto next time yer visiting.

Prefer rectangle face with with a non obtrusive type face for the numbers and a non leather and non metal strap.

Not sure rubber straps work with them though!

Those screw heads should all face the same way Bob.
    Meticulous, maybe.
But that’s how I was brought up as a time served apprentice.

Sorry Bob, not for me, either of them. I don't like metal straps at all.

    Ok…..last one for a while.
Ridiculous value and I love the retro styling of it.
    A proper everyday wearer.

They are very good value and the integrated bracelet style is certainly in fashion right now.

Another one that is a lot of bang for the buck is the Maen Manhattan.

Really like that, not dissimilar to the slightly higher price Nautilus.

Yes - about 150 times higher on the pre-owned market.

I've hovered over the purchase button on the Maen many times.

Having sold a couple of rolexes to fund some house work I might just pick one of those up.
