    Interesting to see Bournemouth potentially being sold to a group led by the Vegas Golden Knights NHL owners for £150m , seems low for a PL club but they don't own Dean Court and their Training Ground is very basic. 

    Does make me wonder if the original plan from TS was a quick promotion and sell on as a championship club...

    All true. But the post I was responding to which you made, conflated the share price drop with Zynex losing a major customer.  That was announced 18th Feb.  If you go to the day before that announcement to now then the share price has risen 35% and 80%+ from it's nadir.

    Hence, it would appear, the loss of that customer has not had a negative impact medium term on the share price.  It was wrong to suggest so.

    It has been quoted so many times on here about the longer term drop in share price since our acquisition everyone knows about that and that was not the point of my post.

    The share price is actually up about 3% overall between the start of the year and now during a very tough economic climate that is not too shabby.  It's a small cap company and they can suffer wild share price rides often outside of normal economic sense.

    I expect Airman is busy on the final VoTV, delayed reportedly due to a postal strikes, but likely to be such a weighty tome now that it could well be the cause of another.

    Additionally, Golfie post ignores the special dividend paid in January this year together with the "stock dividend" of 10%. In other words, shareholders have 10% more shares than they had at end 2021.

    Yeah, but if you look at the whole graph, that peak is a bit like beating Plymouth 5-1. It's an outlier No idea what caused any of the movements in Zynex, but overall, it looks as if Zynex shares are around 10USD or less most of the time. If you draw a line from the start of 2019 to september 2022, they hace shown a gentle rise, though I doubt that's much consolation to anyone who bought shares in may and june of 2020.
    Whatever, Zynex is not Charlton - he may have other assets, or find other investors.

    yes - that graph is a lot more positive than i thought it would be - the high when he bought us was not the norm so doubt he would have been relying on it

    I suspect he was willing to make losses on his way to the Premier League. But he has realised that it isn't as easy on relying on his own superior football knowledge. So when you take that away, all he has left is to try to make us break even in League One, which is not possible. We are a club which if you give us something to support, we will but he has failed to do this, partly down to his ineptitude. It was his approach, not our one.

    It doesn't help when we know of the bullying ineptitude in which we are run. It is hard to love and indeed defend that.

    I think that the similarities in our two most recent owners, I will leave ESI out of ownership category, is that there has been very little understanding of what is required in both listening to supporters concerns and how the English version of a football club is run. A little less in the case of TS but certainly Dutchelet and the people he put in charge must have cost him millions. I hope that TS does not suffer the same fate but he needs to start listening and engage with the fans, when that was the case under Murray, Varney and Co, this club moved forward and even if decisions were made, such as the sale of Lee Bowyer, then the supporters were made aware that this money would be reinvested in the club and the sale was in the best interests of player and Club. A football club is a team and not just on the pitch.

    I think one of the problems is that Sandgaard demands and expects unconditional gratitude and love. Many of us have been too damaged to give it and indeed we need to see the club start to move forwards. When that happens support will increase. Sorry, if it happens.

    The football under Garner is better and whilst we limping along at the moment, the football under Jackson was truly awful. If Jackson was in charge, we would have lost last night.


    33 games under JJ were not all awful !
    There was me thinking that winning football was best and attractive, and since when did we do a tunnel jump because we did a 20 pass move together despite the no shot on target at the end of it when we only draw ?

    I gave up my season ticket at the beginning of last season because I couldn't be duped anymore and felt that Nigel Adkins who I liked as a person was struggling with his day job and I needed to watch football when it was more fun and it didn't intrude on my mood with a negative effect; Youth football and part time football did help.

    So I picked my games to go to at the Valley and under Johnnie Jackson managed to select well as we won every game we didn't concede a goal (mainly 2-0) and even the two games we lost against Morecambe and Lincoln (we created enough chances including 5 against Lincoln to win with 10 men)

    Of course we played some bad games under JJ because we were short of the quality and consistency to challenge the top 6 over a season. 

    But to label the 33 games under JJ when we moved from 22nd to 11th as awful  before the lack of quality and injuries (as usual) meant we turned into what we are a mid table League 1 side and finished 13th after the Ipswich thrashing in the last game.

    Ben Garner had to be backed in the window and leaving the striker/forward to the last day was asking for trouble when the House chain analogy kicks in.

    Steve Gallen and Ben Garner were so gutted that words can't hide their feelings.

    Sad football times for Charlton athletic.


    Absolutely spot on. When people describe football under Jackson as awful, they never mention the winning run that gained him the job full time or the fact that he never had his first choice forward line for almost three months after he was appointed. Adkins was sacked because he was told to play the high press game and never had the players to do it, Jackson was sacked because he refused to play that system because he knew he didn't have the players to do it. TS has demanded that we play a high press game and has not addressed the mistake he made under Adkins, no goalscorers . 
    That is exactly how I see it.

    Word has it that she is micro managing just about everything at our club.

    It is also rumoured that she doesn't have the necessary visa ( and qualifications ?) to allow her to have paid employment in the UK.
