It's the same old now isn't it:
- Make a shit decision, then uturn/back track (Valley Floyd, Ticket prices, fake attendances, etc)
Problem is, there is no Uturn regarding Transfer Managament and MS's role, which is currently killing the Clubs chances of success.7 -

IF fans had known the "new" /U turned /current prices, some may well have opted to BAYG ( buy as you go) which would have meant they kept their hard earned in their pocket until a match which they wanted to attend , and NOT given a lump sum to the club by purchasing a season ticket...which presumably earns interest ?
It's increasingly clear that all TS & co are interested in is MONEY and that they have NO interest in their " customers" ...the lifeblood of our football club who are currently walking away in their droves.
Just get out of OUR club, Sandgaards !
Everything you do is making the approaching the death knell louder.

But without the right people in place to advise on such matters they get it wrong.
We have seen thousands of tickets given away last season and various other gimmicks and now this.
Get it right at the start of the season and there would be no need for any of this.10 -

As TS is discovering, people will not pay good money to watch rubbish. Especially during the current climate where we are all making hard choices as to how to spend our diminishing bucks. If nothing changes/things get worse it will be interesting to see how season ticket sales go next year. I honestly fear for this club.4

One of Sandgaard's biggest mistakes and there have been plenty , is believing that league one is a better product than it actually is.
It's only the real diehards among us that actually give a toss about league one.
Sandgaard can try as much as he likes but the only way to increase attendance and turnover is to get promoted .
Unfortunately he's not got a clue how to do it.9 -

Shows the bridge is fully burnt for some people.1 -
Got to be a good thing surely? We all know the pricing was wrong so at least the club is listening and doing something about it, even if it is a U-turn.
We now need to improve things on the pitch and hopefully attract a few more along to The Valley and create an intimidating atmosphere for visiting teams.6 -

And no matter what anyone says, lots of people do consider the perks when buying... its not extras that you don't think of when signing up.1 -

If the extras are pointless to most people, maybe they should just bin them and take £25 off the price. Also, if a beer, taking mates and buying merch for the boy are not part of the football experience... bin them too.

That’s it, lower the prices when it’s clear we are destined for another mid table finish - that will bring the fans back.2
-
Its a positive move, but its only bringing them to the price they should have been in the first place. At this point Id say so many have tuned out from this season that it won't make a difference on the attendances.3

For me its been the case for some while that a BAYG approach is the most prudent financial thing to do particularly as most will miss some games due to holiday/sickness/other priories etc. There are no real benefits or status to being a season ticket holder in League 1.
So I don't think reducing the price is the wrong thing to do - just ridiculous they couldn't have resolved the pricing in the close season. But its an inherited mess pre TS of course which no one seems able to simply fix for reasons I cant defend / explain.1 -
The issue I still have is the 'late booking' tax / premium.
As a principle this annoys me more than it should.9 -

It’s not the theatre, it’s the third division, don’t they know how terraces and turnstiles worked?7 -

The world and his wife knew the cost of living crisis that was building throughout the year. Any sensible discussion about match day pricing should have borne this in mind if they really were serious about their “Fill The Valley” mantra.I had thought that they may do something about lowering ST prices after the shambles of the thousands of giveaways last season. It seemed like some comments to that end were made when they admitted this was a mistake, but it never happened. Both examples of being unable, or unwilling, to understand your market and your fans. Both avoidable if you have experienced management in place who can think these things through 🤷🏻♂️8
