Two league appearances, conceded 6 goals. Doesn't bode well with Wollacott out of action for a while...
Yes, I heard nothing but positive comments on Charlton TV.
Granted he did plenty of excellent saves.
But no one mentioned that he didn't leave his line and Burton had so many unchallenged headers on goal it was unbelievable. They really could have headed in 6 from corners.

The corner we conceded yesterday is classic MacGillivray, he is completely static on his line as he watches the ball fly past him. He did that so many times last season, it has been a breath of fresh air seeing Wallacott being more dominant and proactive on dead balls.

What corner goal? Do you mean their first?

His kicking out from the box needs to improve. He does not seem to like playing it out on the ground as Garner prefers.

I thought this was a big issue Saturday, he didn't want to/trust passing the ball out, like we have all season. And when he kicked the ball we was really deep, that's how the 3rd goal for them come along.. I know we did score a goal from him going long, but we also did when he passed it out.

Think it was a big reason we couldn't control the game.

But he did make some good saves, and was brave!

He is pony. Not saying he's fully down to us conceding 3 on Saturday but he doesn't give his defenders confidence and at this level, if players are unsure of their keepers capabilities, then what is the point.

Sorry, yes, the free kick. Guess it was bringing back memories of him being equally inactive on corners last season.

Feel a bit for Craig, he's now come into the side at a time when our settled back 4 is gone (injured / suspended etc), that said - I don't think he's good enough, some moves just don't work out. He clearly had a good season at Pompey to win POTY

Burton match report was impressed with Mac. I think he’s a good goalkeeper, and good competition for Wollacott

Unfortunately it's more reason that we have to play Stockley

Strong words from Dean Holden: "Ashley Maynard-Brewer is our current number one"

Nothing about being No.1 until Jojo is fit... Unless I'm reading too much into it... I probably am

I do hope its his spot to lose, until otherwise, even when Jojo is fit

Signed for Stevenage on loan from MK.
  • Strange one considering he has played 26 games this season

Maybe he showed the type of form he did for us.

Their new manager likes playing out from the back and he can’t do that.

If he did that, he'd be on the nackers yard. Worst keeper I can ever remember, including Thuram! McFlappy was horse 💩

    Atrocious keeper.
  • Weird for a L2 club to loan a player to a L1 one.

I did expect our goalkeeping situation to drastically improve following his departure. Sadly, it's been marginal.

I don't know what went wrong with him, the previous season he was Portsmouth's POTY.
