Has Fraser touched the ball yet? Get into the game man
He was well off the pace on Tuesday too. I think he could use a rest.
Second half he was arguably out best player.
No you're right sorry. He was rubbish in the first half. The image of him selling a litany of players short in the first half is burned into my brain, but you're spot on, much better in the second half.

1-0 Great finish from Campbell, lovely to see that talent on show

    Great play from Payne there

    GET THE FUCK IN.

    WHAT A FINISH.
I was literally in the process of bemoaning how advanced our left side which was making us so open at the back ha ha.

Dont think we will keep a clean sheet so gonna need another one.

Lovely finish young man!!... 'keeper should not be beaten at his near post like that
Don't think anyone expected the left foot shot.

    Great finish.

Holden seems to have the Midas touch!
Was just thinking that I bet even his shits smell of roses.

Your explanation is a bit politer though

Good goal. Win the turnover and then a nice early ball from Payne to release Campbell quickly, and then a direct and decisive run and shot by Campbell.

Fraser never lasts 90 minute so perhaps he saves himself at the start so he can last 😁

Nope, I thought he was heading that way to look for the cut back.

Copied from the other thread cos it fits better here.

My problem with Payne playing is that he means Fraser has to play differently. Payne isn't as good at what Fraser has been doing and Fraser isn't as good when he tries to do something else. So it weakens you in two areas. From overflowing with center mids we now look a bit short.

The only reason I would start Payne in midfield is if Fraser isn't avaliable. I would probably have started Payne instead of Cambell.

This will probably look a load of tosh in about 2 hours time 🤷
    Yep load of Tosh!

Claiming the assist for the assist!!
Your original point is right though, Payne and Fraser look to play similar roles and take up similar positions. I think Payne gets some unfair stick because he's been asked to play as an 8 this season, when that's not really his best role. When he comes off the bench and has a freer role, or when he plays from the right, he looks much better.

Great Goalkeeping from Barnsley... Just about managed to avoid a corner
  • Options
Anderson needs to be booked for that

    Ref finally gives us something.

    Leaburn is a fooking beast
  • Options
Good play from Kane and Payne in the corner to keep hold of the ball until Leaburn was ready to receive. Once he was, wins the free kick from their CB on halfway

Six points off playoffs in the live table…
Shows what a shit/competitive league it is

    What did he give us?

Shot from distance from Fraser... Comfortably over though

Kane has a lovely eye for a pass
