Whereas there was something I didn't like about the 'United' film:redlanered said:United! Didn't last long, which was a shame as it was actually pretty good IIRC

Not sure why I do, I was 8 when it aired1 -
Did anyone else watch Fash Fc?
Ran on Bravo in the early 2000s, with John Fashanu managing a Sunday League team. Was a great show, think it had Caroline Flack presenting and Andy Goldstein & Andy Burton commentating.3 -

This was fantastic. Mainly centred around Hackney Marshes if i remember correctly?!?paulbaconsarnie said:Think it was called ‘the big game’ where Danny Baker showed Sunday park football matches.

Quiz Ball, one for the oldies.
A quiz for two teams per episode competing against each other comprising of 3 players per team from football league teams.
Always remember John Osbourne (WBA goalkeeper) being an absolute brain box.
Might be wrong but don't remember Charlton being on the program.0 -

Set pretty much in the clubhouse of a non league team. Craig Cash, Joe Wilkinson. I thought it was funny but obviously nobody else did as it only had one series!2 -
we liked that too. Great cast list including Diane Morgan (who i will watch in anything)Wilma said:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rovers_(TV_series)

Just looked at Danny Bakers Wiki and it says it was only one series with 6 episodes.

Deviating slightly into the realms of reality TV, Wayne Rooney's street striker was a good little show. Late 2000's as I recall2

Just a slight pedantic correction - it was Footballers’ Wives rather than one footballer being a polygamist.I met the actor who played the hunky, gorgeous. long-curly-haired Italian player in it at a restaurant in Glasgow a few years back. In real life he was a weedy, short-haired Arsenal fan, but he did compliment me that I ‘knew a lot about football for a bird’.Finally caught up with Ted Lasso and just watched finale of series 2 tonight. Very good - especially the Roy Kent character. I love Chris Powell but Curbs is a better actor.2
