Knee jerk reaction to being just 5 points off relegation.
The fact that 4 teams HAVE to go down each League 1 season so I don't know what owners expect. I have no idea if they spent any money in the summer/January but if they hadn't then it's to be expected.

Not a knee jerk reaction at all:
0 wins in 8 games with 1 point during that period.
Fans favourite Matty Taylor allowed to leave to a L1 rival.
Fans had turned on Robbo, lots of abuse in the ground and online.
0-3 defeat at home to an equally poor form Gas yesterday suggested he had lost the players.
Robbo's post match quote:"the last two months have been as bad as I've had in my career and some of the performances certainly haven't been good enough. It hurts. It hurts me, it hurts the players and equally I know it hurts the fans."
All in all just about the most predictable sacking of the weekend I'd say. It's been coming.
Liam Fox has left his role as Dundee United head coach after five months by mutual consent following Saturday's humiliating defeat by Ross County.
Fox, who stepped up from assistant to replace Jack Ross in September, had been in permanent charge for just 22 matches, winning just six and drawing three.
Manning to Oxford is an interesting move , they've got some quality in that squad but seemed like they had completely given up under Robinson.
I might be wrong, but Manning doesn't strike me as a fire-fighting manager, to quickly turn things around which is what they need now. A relegation scrap, which is what they could end up in, isn't the time for introducing a new passing style of football either.

Yeah I see it as a huge risk. I would have thought Manning was someone that needed a preseason to implement his style.
