The wording on FMM is so ambiguous its hard to work out
Is it gonna be Netflix subscription only?
Or can you still pay the one of fee on the appstore?
If its netflix subscription only they have signed their own death warrant IMO as i doubt even 50% of current FMM players have a Netflix subscription0 -
Progress Never Stops? Who wrote that line for them, the same guy that wrote the Castore tagline?2

You’ll need a Netflix account and subscription to play FM24 Mobile.paulie8290 said:The wording on FMM is so ambiguous its hard to work out

So it’s unlikely that Sports Interactive will care too much about how many people actually play if they’ve already been paid for what is essentially a side offering to the main game.
https://www.footballmanager.com/news/football-manager-2024-mobile-coming-exclusively-netflix“If you’re an existing player with a Netflix membership, you'll be able to find and install FM24 Mobile through the Netflix mobile app when the game launches in November. It will appear in a dedicated Games row on Apple phones and a separate Games tab on Android devices*.
Players can still find FM24 Mobile on the App Store and Google Play, but you’ll need a Netflix account to login and begin your next journey to footballing greatness.
If you’re not logged in to Netflix on your device, you will receive a sign-in prompt upon reaching the game’s loading screen. At this point you’ll either need to enter your Netflix account details or sign up for a new membership.”

🤦♂️🤦♂️
Might not care about the money but surely they will care when they have half the amount of downloads/reviews gameplay hours, people tweeting about FMM24
Used to be a one of payment of £8.99 now you need to pay a monthly subscription for a mobile app, doesn't seem right to me
Hopefully FMM25 they realise they messed up and revert to normal so i only have to go 1 year without0 -

Japan will be playable down to the 3rd tier.1

No Saudi Pro League in FM2024?... really?!0
-
Probably breaks the algorithm, every transfer window they'll just be buying up any player you list for hundreds of millions of pounds.DoctorCharlton said:No Saudi Pro League in FM2024?... really?!2 -
It’ll usually come down to the benefit they get from adding a league. To do so means they need better research and put resources into making it playable and testing it. There’s probably not a big enough market for selling the game in Saudi Arabia. I can’t imagine a significant enough number of users playing in that league to justify it either.DoctorCharlton said:No Saudi Pro League in FM2024?... really?!
I’m sure Saudi clubs in game will behave more like they do in real life, they always aim to reflect things like that which are are changing in the real world.0 -

League has only really become a thing in the past couple of months, so there's no way they'd have had the time to research the league properly and get info on all the players and staff at all the Saudi clubs in time for the launch.DoctorCharlton said:No Saudi Pro League in FM2024?... really?!
If it continues to grow with loads of big players going there then i'd expect they might have to add it at some point.0 -
I'm sure the community will create it that you can then add. Much like you can add all the leagues below conference north/southDoctorCharlton said:No Saudi Pro League in FM2024?... really?!4 -
So I'm guessing Cristiano Ronaldo will not be in the game? I kind of like the appeal of managing a Saudi team taking on all the old has beens for inflated amounts of cash.0

my guess all the high profile players will still be in there, just the rest of their teams wont be.DoctorCharlton said:So I'm guessing Cristiano Ronaldo will not be in the game? I kind of like the appeal of managing a Saudi team taking on all the old has beens for inflated amounts of cash.0 -
I think this, just basically can't play that league!kentaddick said:

It does scupper the idea of selling Charlie Kirk for 30 million to fund the summer spending spreeDoctorCharlton said:No Saudi Pro League in FM2024?... really?!2 -

Absolutely hilarious that Miles Jacobsen is so bad at interacting with humans that he needs AI to generate reasonable conversation responses. A robot has more idea of how people interact than he doesCallumcafc said:

How's everyone finding it so far?
I'm having the best season I've ever had (I'm usually pretty terrible).
Just had a run of 17 consecutive wins in all competitions come to an end at the hands of Leyton Orient. In the process we broke the club record for most consecutive wins/most games unbeaten. We also equaled the record for consecutive League One wins. Shame we couldn't take it just one more game.
However, I do have a horrendous confession to make. This sort of progress doesn't come without a price afterall......
Lyle Taylor is my leading goalscorer.2 -
I’ve found it too easy as well. Hopefully they toughen it up a little for full release. I managed to get Lingaard in on a free who has been ridiculous in L1. Also if you offer for loans on the last day of the window they all come for free, Lesley Ugochukwu from Chelsea, Amad Diallo from Man U and Ben Doak from Liverpool have smashed the league for me. Some good frees about as well.1
