Hi all, I've not updated you lately as I've been waiting for next steps. As you know my chemo was stopped about 4 or 5 weeks ago. Since then I've seen a big improvement in my overall health. Having gone from 13 1/2 st down to just under 9 St in 4 months and suffering from pain and severe fatigue, in the last 4 weeks I've been pain free (without the need for painkillers), fatigue has all but gone and I'm now 10st 7lbs.
Today I'm off to hospital for a radiotherapy planning meeting, I will be given a tattoo on my pelvis/stomach, so the radiotherapy 'beam' can target the precise location of the tumour.
Radiotherapy will be everyday of the week for 5 weeks, I'll be given the start date later today.
So I'm pushing forward as best I can and hope to be cancer free by the time of my 69th birthday at the end of March.
When I have any further updates I'll post again, but until then.

My attitude is, "OK I've beaten heart failure, now I need to fight again, bring it on"
If I lose it won't be for the want of trying......but I don't intend to lose.
I have a football team in SE7 to watch regain their status in the higher echelons.10 -
