    No more than Villa deserve.
  • Been a very long time since a City side was outplayed this much. Villa should be about 4-0 up.

As things stand they're only 3 points above a Man U side who are a mess with the manager's job under threat.

Villa must be considered serious title contenders if they beat Arsenal at the weekend.  They have totally embarrassed City tonight.

    That would be brilliant.
  • Rodri has missed 4 league and cup games this season and City have lost them all

Haha, FFS he never ceases to amaze me with his constant BS.  Perhaps the media is blinded by his veneers but I cant stand him.

Can you imagine Ange reacting like that?

Footballers being asked to play football matches. Who'd have thought it.

And does a 12.30 kick off make that much difference over a 3pm kick off? Or maybe he just wants to play one game a week, but take the money for two to pay the players?

It would be slightly less grating if they didn’t jet off to the US/Dubai/China/Saudia Arabia to play kick arounds whenever they can.

In fairness to Klopp his objection isn't with the kick off time itself. It's with the fact that Liverpool are picked for that fixture following an international break far more than any other side.

"The number of 12.30pm Saturday games following an international window under Klopp is now 13 — more than double the number faced by any other top-flight club".

I think he has a right to question why they're picked so often for it compared to other sides. Any manager in his position would.
  • What do current PL Managers Dyche, Hodgson, Edwards, Silva and Wilder all have in common? They have all managed Watford. But, there again, who hasn't?

Klopp has taken victimhood to a new level.

Three more managers and it's my turn at Watford.

Klopp up there on my all time Premier League hate list. Never ever liked him, and don’t get what the media see in him considering the way he speaks to people.

Because they're Liverpool, have millions of fans around the world and so are an attractive fixture for TV companies. Which in turn nets them millions of pounds of income and allows them to attract and pay some of the best players in the world. And pay his salary.

If he wants to stop the bus and get off then that's up to him, but I'm sure there's lots of other clubs who would love to be getting the same sort of air time and TV money as Liverpool.

It's only a matter of time until they do get that opportunity to do so.

I don't disagree with you but they would still get that same money if playing a 5.30 saturday kick off or a sunday game.

Ange Postecoglou is an absolute breath of fresh air amongst modern managers.
I cannot bear to watch Arteta, Guardiola and their ilk celebrating goals like fcuking 10 year olds and then reacting like petulant 10 year olds to every set-back or decision that goes against them.
Ange is everything I like in a manager. A dignified adult!
I hope Spurs win the league and anything else they enter whilst he's still there

You cant help but like him.
  • I have not always accepted that the premier league is the best in the world. However after watching quite a few games this year,I have changed my mind. The entertainment we are getting from the likes of Newcastle,Brighton,Aston Villa and of course The top sides is really worth watching.Last nights Villa performance was outstanding,1-0 did not do them justice.I look forward to their Arsenal game, should be a cracker.
  • Amazing how Villa have progressed in the league this season, despite also playing on Thursdays in Europe.

they've definitely bucked the trend over recent years.
  • Everton would be 10th above Chelsea without their 10-pt deduction...
  • I hope Spurs win the league and anything else they enter whilst he's still there

I like Ange a lot but I’m pretty sure even he’d accept a world with spurs successful is not one he’d want to be part of .
  • I've actually reached the "anyone but City" stage now. It's not because I dislike City or Pep, it's more that it's really unhealthy to have one team winning the league year after year after year.
