Well done @Tracey fantastic effort. Very well organised this year.
  • Well done TCE and it was great to meet both you and Bow, he was amazing and so well behaved.
Nice to have a chat and when you’re less tired would love to hear about the rest of your day and whether Bow and yourself managed to see any of the game.

Too busy talking to the bloke in front of you, realised you looked familiar and when you said your name was going to say something when you gave your excuse for not having a booking form, then had to give my form over and you’d disappeared. Definitely was efficient today.
  • all went well, thanks everyone.

Thank you all so much for your support today. Without you booking the tests it wouldn’t happen. Without your sponsorship it wouldn’t happen. Today we tested around 470 men. Approx 10% will receive either a red or amber letter. This day really saves lives. Blown away as always from support as a Charlton family. Charlotte Richardson working on the checking in desk with my daughter, Nathan Jones coming and meeting fans and doing an interview, Ray Bates, Garry and Sharon Jay running the bucket collection. My son coming to meet fans at 2.30pm but us realising everyone had been tested and there was no queue! The phlebotomist’s took the opportunity to have a photo with him though and I can’t thank them enough that year after year they come and work so hard as they believe in what we are doing.
The bucket collection raised a fantastic £875 so all that’s left to raise is £407.00
Anyone who receives a red/amber result and needs support please contact me.
Thank you again for all your support.
     Charlton family 🙌

Sorted - the gift aid takes it over the £407 :)
Well you’ve got me crying now. And that’s no mean feat!!❤️ thank  you so much. Will be thinking of everyone tomorrow receiving their results ❤️
  • Wonderful Ray!
Well done to everyone and good luck to all on the results ♥️
  • Just told my Mrs (Pompey ST Holder) the story about the "drug dog" and Pompey fans avoiding Bow'. She said "Sounds about right" lol. Great to see you yesterday Ray and Bow' is a smasher.

My result has just come back - Green. I’m 0.36 ng/ml. Last year I was 0.35ng/ml. So, up slightly. Can’t take any chances with this awful disease. I had my prostate shaved a few years ago. Not because of cancer, the scan came back all clear. it was enlarged and I couldn’t pee. But the risk then was higher then. So, like to have it checked every year. Well done @tracy and all concerned for getting this organised. 👏👏👏👏

Green for me as well and shouldn’t need to test again for 3 years which is nice to now have that in the back of the mind, thanks to all involved.
