I haven't done it for Carlisle and Port Vale as obviously less relevant, but looking at Northampton and Shrewsbury:
Northampton have lost 175 league appearances, and 18 goals in that group of players.
Shrewsbury have lost 236 league appearances, but only 5 goals in their group of released/returning players.0 -
Notice that Tyreece Simpson who we were competing with Huddersfield for (after a good Swindon loan spell) hasn't really kicked on after that spell in League Two where he scored 9-goals in 25-games... None in the Championship so far, and just three goals last season with Northampton.0
-
Goes without saying, but obviously one of those 3 was against us.ForeverAddickted said:Notice that Tyreece Simpson who we were competing with Huddersfield for (after a good Swindon loan spell) hasn't really kicked on after that spell in League Two where he scored 9-goals in 25-games... Thomas Holy has always had good games against us. Better keeper than what we've already got ?0
-
Think it was a game or two after his heroics when we drew 1-1 with Carlisle, that I saw him have an absolute clanger.golfaddick said:Thomas Holy has always had good games against us. Better keeper than what we've already got ?
Made me smile on Saturday as well, as was reading the BBC updates for the League One final day, and there was one from the Lincoln vs Portsmouth game, about how Lukas Jensen (another Goalkeeper who'd been mentioned here), made a proper hash and flapped at a cross.
Of course that can happen to anyone at this level in one or two games, we need to find the guys that make mistakes a lot less than others - But given our own performances in recent years... A couple of good games against us is nothing special.2 -
Probably not, 32 now and was dropped to Carlisle Number 2 for the second half of the season for Harry Lewis, who they signed from Bradford in January.golfaddick said:Thomas Holy has always had good games against us. Better keeper than what we've already got ?1 -
It was weird how good he was against us a few weeks earlier. Admittedly we made it easier by pumping endless high balls towards the giant keeper, rather than testing him low down.DyerConsequences said:

Interestingly he made the same amount of saves as Lewis despite quite a few less shots on target faced. In terms of save % Lewis ranks last amongst League One Keepers. Although Holy isn't exactly high on the list either. https://fbref.com/en/comps/15/keepers/League-One-Statskillerandflash said:

Coming out of Vale Park in January one of the Vale fans said to me that our 'keeper had just given the best performance by a visiting stopper in his 40 years of attending. Opinions can be so skewed by one viewing of a player. We shipped three goals that day and I recall Maynard Brewer making one outrageous save where the ball had deviated in mid air but otherwise it was a typical performance by him.killerandflash said:

Marc Leonard would be an unreal signing if we could get him on loan from Brighton next season.3
-
Started every single game in the league this season and was not subbed off once, how’s that for durability? Certainly differs in that regard from some of the signings we have made in recent years.Covered_End_Lad said:Marc Leonard would be an unreal signing if we could get him on loan from Brighton next season.1 -
I wonder if we could get El Mizouni on loan5

Yes he was, he was taken off against us at their place and again 2 weeks later against Wycombe.Covered_End_Lad said:

Either way, yes he’s a player that is always available and that as we know is an important asset in a player at this level, especially if they’re talented.2 -

Has our released list been published yet?
Or any ITK who can give us some clues?
0 -
Not officially. The ones I've listed are the only official ones from League One so far. Will also put in the promoted (from League 2) and relegated (from Championship) when they all get announced though1

Dunk made 464 appearances for Cambridge. In recent years just making 64 appearances for Charlton is an achievement...DyerConsequences said:Another one announced:

Presumably they'll sign Edun to replace him given they're now two players down on their ex-Charlton quota.killerandflash said:

Our released list will make for some very interesting reading! Soon we will know just how active we plan on being this summer.2

When does our released list get announced?0
-
Most teams release them in the week after the final game. So reasonable chance it will be this week.Mendonca In Asdas said:When does our released list get announced?0 -
about an hour ago. I got an email from the club telling me all the news. Didn't you get one ?Mendonca In Asdas said:When does our released list get announced?
In all seriousness, Nathan Jones said he is speaking to every player who is out of contract on a 1-1 basis today. Hopefully we'll get some news by the end of this week.
Patience is a virtue.1
