If the investigation into the "incident" leads to him being banned, would the next placed finisher from last night's vote get the place in the final?

Asking only because I really think Denmark (maybe even San Marino, if I'd had a few pints) were a bit robbed when you consider what got through.
I'd say watch them over again ,but I suppose if you do that without being a few pints down you'll ask yourself why any of them got through!....or even why you are watching it in the first place!!

I'm starting to think it's all stuff & nonsense.
Latest thing I read is that one journalist gave out the percentage of winning votes that Israel received (39.9% apparently 😳) which is against the rules.
FFS I feel sorry for the Swedish. They're so happy to be hosting it.

Apparently they're using a previous Netherlands performance in tonight's rehearsal due to the ongoing investigation.

The whole contest is a farce at the moment.

Sounds like his costume wasn't the stupidest thing about him. Hope the young lady in question is OK.

For those like me who hadn't seen it.

I can see that doing very well, tbh, production is good which does well in Eurovision.
Dreadful. Could only listen to 20 seconds of it. When has goth/thrash metal had anything to do with Eurovision.

I heard yesterday people defending our entry saying that Eurovision has always been a but "camp".  Tell that to Sandy Shaw, Cliff Richard, Bucks Fizz, ABBA, Katrina et al. The Irish were once known for good songs & winning it 3 times on the spin with Jonny Logan writing some of the tunes. I wonder what he will he thinking tonight.

Ireland withdrew anyway on a fit of pique about comments by Israeli television about their act.

Euro pop like ours, but think that was slightly better.

Thank you for that, I have just spent 5 minutes trying to come up with his name whilst describing him to my missus and her brother!

    "Big bloke...deep voice...tattoos..."
    "Harry Secombe?"
    "You what..?!!"

Me and the Mrs have a tenner on Switzerland. With UK Ukraine Italy and Ireland in the top 10 at 50-1. It’s the only way to keep interest.
