South Africa v Sri Lanka this afternoon might be an interesting one, think group D is the nearest we have to a "group of death" with Bangladesh and Netherlands capable on their day (or capable of losing to Uganda in Bangladesh's case). Otherwise think the group stage will be as you expect, though interesting to see some countries I've not seen before play3

Always get one or two upsets in this format, as the shorter games sometimes brings the teams closer together. But ultimately you'd be very surprised if the super 8 is anyone other than India, Pakistan, Australia, England, NZ, WI, South Africa and then either Bangladesh or Sri Lanka.3 -

NRR could be a factor so it is in SA's interest to finish it quickly hence presumably sending in Stubbs (who is 10 off 23 balls when ordinarily he's be on something like 35) then you know this is an extremely difficult surface to bat on. Nothing wrong with a wicket having pace but that combined with irregular bounce makes it a nightmare for batsmen.0
