5 transfers yesterday on the first official day of the window, and we're now down to just 9 teams with 0 signings. Undisclosed signings almost doubled, going from 4 to 7, with 3 yesterday.

Wonder if we made him an offer before moving on to Mitchell? Though with Hector and Thomas gone we might end up bringing in two CBs.covered_end_junior said:

Wanderers have fought off fierce competition from both Championship and League One clubs to make the defender their first signing of the summer transfer window.

Thought Bolton might fade a bit this season but that is a very good signing… if he can stay fitIn fact looking through the players signed list there is some real quality on it for L1.We had a lot to do, it looks more daunting by the day, hopefully we get some proper signings through soon.2

Him going to Bolton rather than us is definitely toughsheetshirty5 said:1 -

So a player many would have kept ends up in League Two. Who’d have thought it?covered_end_junior said:Terell Thomas signs for Carlisle.

The most Peterborough signing ever. You just know in 2 years they'll sell him for about £5m.ForeverAddickted said:Chris Conn-Clarke has joined Peterborough11 -

Has felt like the most inevitable transfer in the league for this window. Just fits the mould of exactly the type of player Posh sign for a couple of hundred grand and sell for £5m. Will be interesting if he can make the step up.1

Signings compared to what teams lost. In theory you'd expect teams at the top to make more signings as they've lost more players:
Barnsley: 293 Apps, 43 goals (52.4%) - 1 signingWigan: 255 Apps, 33 goals (52.3%) - 3 signings
Rotherham: 250 Apps, 10 goals (27%) - 7 signings
Exeter: 237 Apps, 8 goals (17.3%) - 0 signings
Shrewsbury: 236 Apps, 5 goals (14.2%) - 3 signings
Burton: 228 Apps, 11 goals (28.2%) - 4 signings
Birmingham: 220 Apps, 26 goals (32%) - 0 signings
Blackpool: 209 Apps, 31 goals (47.6%) - 1 signing
Bristol Rovers: 199 Apps, 10 goals (19.2%) - 0 signings
Charlton: 196 Apps, 5 goals (7.8%) - 2 signings
Northampton: 175 Apps, 18 goals (31.5%) - 0 signings
Leyton Orient: 174 Apps, 11 goals (20.7%) - 0 signings
Wycombe: 163 Apps, 9 goals (15%) - 1 signing
Stockport: 154 Apps, 30 goals (31.2%) - 4 signings
Cambridge United: 152 Apps, 21 goals (53.8%) - 1 signing
Bolton: 144 Apps, 19 goals (22%) - 1 signing
Peterborough: 119 Apps, 24 goals (26.9%) - 3 signings
Lincoln City: 115 Apps, 14 goals (21.5%) - 2 signings
Reading: 115 Apps, 6 goals (8.8%) - 0 signings
Wrexham: 114 Apps, 3 goals (3.3%) - 0 signings
Huddersfield: 109 Apps, 8 goals (16.6%) - 0 signings
Stevenage: 77 Apps, 0 goals (0%) - 3 signings
Crawley: 63 Apps, 4 goals (5.4%) - 0 signings
Mansfield: 54 Apps, 3 goals (3.3%) - 4 signings
Possibly therefore not surprising 4 of the 0 signing teams are in the bottom 6 for appearances lost. Barnsley, Exeter and Birmingham however look like they have a busy couple of months ahead.1 -
Believe there was no fee for McGrandles, we just let him go and got his wages off our books. He wasn’t part of the plans so trying to negotiate over a £100k or so just isn’t worth it.13
-
Ordinarily yes but in the context of our season we would have won a lot more games that we drew (and there was a LOT of those) and drawn or won a few of those we lost if we’d had a goalkeeper that owned his area and let anyone that lost concentration they’d had just made a fcking big mistake. Far too many soft goals were gifted last season.North Lower Neil said:

Probably correct. Was announced as undisclosed so I've put it as that but yes wouldn't surprise me if there was no up front fee.Sage said:Believe there was no fee for McGrandles, we just let him go and got his wages off our books. He was young, but previously flopped with Fleetwood in L1, so it's not as if he hasn't been tested at this level before. It'll be interesting whether he becomes a regular for Posh this season or if he's eased in.MarcusH26 said:Has felt like the most inevitable transfer in the league for this window. One of the players who left Barnsley, right back Jordan Williams, has joined Pompey.0

I think it will ultimately depend on who else they bring in and if they also keep hold of the excellent Kwame Poku. Can see him being eased in and being behind Poku and former target of ours Joel Randall initially.
