    Where is Andy Scott’s paragraph?
This is not on at all, I fear he’s being marginalised…
It's on there, don't worry. Has to earn his wages somehow (Though it's probably ghost written)

Really good signing, best of the bunch.

The kind of signing you'd expect a newly promoted team to make to adjust to the championship.

Probably means no Dobson, as it's pretty much a like for like, with Docherty potentially offering more.

If Coventry can kick on this season, combined with Berry and Docherty, that's a pretty decent midfield on paper.

    Welcome Docherty
Dobbo instead of Coventry ? (We can dream can't we?)

Is he going to be the Dobson replacement?
He's a ball winner apparently, so yes.

No Google required on this one. NJ is delivering on his promises as things stand. We are fishing from the league above (mainly) rather than the one below. No complaints and looking forward to seeing how they starting gelling over pre-season. Welcome Greg!

Pleased with this signing plus the rest, enough to put my top 6 bet on at odds of 15/8.

nice new player, and lovely old school announcement.

"We've signed a player, this is his name".

    As it should be.

been mentioned on here for a while, steady midfielder who won't let us down, seen as a Dobson replacement ?

    Welcome Greg

that looks a better use of budget than shelling out to re-sign Dobbo. All looking a lot better now, good work in the last few days.

Never heard of him, never seen him play, but encouraged that he signed from a higher division without being nearly ready to start drawing his pension.

The kind of signing I’d have expected Portsmouth, Derby or Oxford to make.

    Good business in my opinion.

Not much need to be paying fees for many players in my opinion.

    Welcome!
  • Went under the radar, I like it, welcome Greg!

I'm fairly surprised we have signed him, always looked good when I've seen him play and was part of Hulls side last season. Had a touch of the Kinsellas about him

If he's anywhere close to how good Kins was, then we have signed a diamond!

Really pleased we managed to get this one (and keep it under wraps until it was done!) it's starting to feel like potential signings are seeing what we're  building and want to get on board

Apparently he is naturally two footed. Hopefully balance us in the middle a bit.
Having two feet is pretty common among footballers. Most goalies have two hands as well.

Yes you probably did, been mentioned a few times already.
  • Possible that this was lined up and on hold while we saw whether Dobbo would come back or not and when apparent that he was not we signed Docherty

Dobson is a year younger and has not played at such a high level, a neutral would take Greg over George one hundred times out of a hundred.
