Pidcock out with Covid, doubt G will last more than this weekend
Cavendish might win the GC if everyone gets COVID

Looks like heartbreak for Healy at the end of today's stage...

Just a stunning win today, Vingegaard looks well beaten.

Brilliant... This rivalry between Tadej and Jonas is one of the best surely?

The speed with which Pogacar just closed the gap between himself and Yates / Healy!!

He didn’t even look tired at the end, he’s a different breed

I'm inclined to believe, in this year's Tour, one of the top GC contenders will probably have to deal with having a (possibly COVID-related) really bad day/abandonment.

Edit - in this case, it could be as much due to losing key domestiques as the GC contenders themselves.

Not that I want it, but it's been a really full on race so far, while the numbers being struck down with illness seem significant.

That said, the number of times someone seems dominant on a tough mountain stage but then blows up the next day means it's a bit early to relax if you are UAE.

It's going to give me nightmares, just thinking about it.

I always need about 10 miles or so to get into a rhythm.

Just a hateful start to a long day on the road.

Fully expect a couple to miss the cut off.

No doubt … that start will destroy the field

Getting problematic for Cav.  Can only afford to lose about another 20 minutes.

It's nail biting at both ends of the race.

I know that the Alps are still to come, but you'd struggle to see much change in the podium in Nice after today.

It's frightening to think that Pogacar might win a couple more stages this week.

Agreed, he's going to be kicking himself that he wasn't more conservative in his tactics, but he really had to try to undermine Pogacar.

I have to admit to liking him more for having tried and failed.

Which probably says more about me than I'd care to admit.

Now for the real nervousness, seeing who might miss out on time.

How many are in the Cavendish group, still the potential that they will allow an exception for them

    One minute inside!!!

He’ll be pissed, he beat the cutoff by 2 minutes. I though I’d read an article where he said the target was 1 minute
