Feels like massive over analysis of one throw in. Even if we didn't touch the ball again for 12 minutes.  If Rice didn't have a 50p head and had simply headed his straight forward, clear header on target in the 88 minute then it would have been 2-2 and into extra time with us suddenly in the ascendancy.  No one would have cared about or remembered the throw.

England looked best when they had to be brave due to the need to chase the game. Surely there is a learning there. And when they did have to chase, even in the final they came back and very nearly came back again.
Exactly, when we play on the front foot we look as good as anyone but we don't do it for any sustained period
  • Following on from winning the senior Euro's, Spain last night won the U19 Euro's as well.

They are now the current holders of the following titles:

    Men - Euro's, Nations League, U19 Euro's

    Women - World Cup, Nations League, U20 World Cup, U19 Euro's, U17 World Cup, U17 Euro's.

They focus on ball mastery from such a young age via futbol Sala.
Definitely an excellent case study to see what they do.
