Fair play to the Frenchman if not the crowd, who I'm sure we're expecting him to appeal hoping the commissioners would find for the host nation, to either relegate or DQ Pidcock. The rules are clear, but we all know how contentious decisions can come out of racing incident complaints.

Will have to watch it back, but Pidcock looked ahead when they came out of it, and had his front wheel in clear air, when the Frenchie clipped him1 -
Clearly the crowd thought their man was impeded.
