    One minute they're worrying about the Frenchman catching Yee, they cut to the Brazilians in 5th and 6th, cut back and suddenly Yee's only a few yards behind Wilde, and then accelerating past him.

    Was being reeled in by the Frenchman, doorbell rang for a parcel delivery, then could suddenly hear the commentator saying he was going past Wilde for the gold !!!

    Whats amazing is the fact that only France have more Golds than us, in more sports.

    We've got five Golds, all in different Sports (same as Japan), whilst France have six.

    Once again the camera direction has missed the key moments; not the BBC’s fault as they have to take the IOC feed if I understand correctly.

    Yeah the pictures have left a lot to be desired. This was particularly true during the gymnastics last night - there would be 2 or 3 events taking place at the same time but the cameras would spend loads of time focusing on competitors who had completed their routine and were just waiting on their results.

    Thats fantastic, didn't think he would do that and at one stage looked like the two Froggies would catch him, saw that the New Zealander was treading treacle but thought he was still too far ahead, then with the crap tv coverage he was suddenly there firing up the Turbo. Superb!
