Had phone calls the past two evenings asking me why I haven't renewed, I told them I will just not yet, cheeky woman said come on do it now, told her I will do it when I am good and ready, first home game is still 3 weeks away. Going to ask them for all the players and NJ number so I can give them a call at 7 at night after a piss poor performance has been served up :D

I can criticise very little of what Methven says.
He seems extremely competent to me.
  • My season ticket arrived in the post today. It still gives me a buzz of excitement even at 65 years old!

    Likewise. Can't wait
  • My 2 season tickets arrived in the post this morning, and I cannot wait for the new season to start.

Nathan Jones has something about him that gives me the feeling that something special is about to happen.

After managers of the caliber of Garner, Holden, and Appleton, Jones is like a breath of fresh air, and I am genuinely excited for our future.

3pm Saturday afternoon is the sweet spot for us as a family to watch this shit
but with less of that fixture available with TV movements the value of a season ticket diminishes even more
so those numbers are good but it’s a hardcore of us weirdos who will just buy whatever the situation is

After his time at Sunderland, he may have a learned a valuable lesson on what not to do if he ever got involved in another football club.

Time will tell if keeps to what he has been saying so far
  • Just read the above and mine came through the mail slot. Bring it on,

Right - after a period away from looking at all things Charlton, i've started dipping my toe back in - cautiously optimistic is spot on tbf - good manager, good solid signings, investment in the ground / training ground and looking at those figures it would seem reasonable to extrapolate out to about 9k season tickets - COYR!!

Talks a good game doesn't he. To be fair he seems to have a handle on the situation.

    Terry Taylor just delivered mine.
It felt like having a new Postman

Like what Charlie Red Trousers has to say and also welcome the openness with regard figures sold. Also think it’s good they are actively contacting people like NSS above trying to get them on board.

come on guys, if you haven’t done so and are considering it, give the club the benefit of doubt and give them your backing 💪

Just bought one after not renewing last season. Will probably miss half the games through work and other stuff but the owners have been moving us in the right direction as far as I'm concerned. Don't necessarily think we have an amazing squad yet that's going to be easily challenging for promotion, but it has been improved and we have a chance. And alongside the money being spent on the ground and behind the scene's, that's good enough for me to do my bit.

My season ticket arrived yesterday but I didn't feel any excitement at all.
Nothing to do with the club. I just don't enjoy the travel to and from The Valley anymore.

We got ours this week, for the first season in a while am planning weekends around home games rather than making home games when i can.
  • Tedic just delivered mine, he missed the letter box and threw it on the roof.

Marcus Fraser just delivered mine, couldn't be bothered to walk all the way to the door, so attempted to volley it through the letter box from the drive, I'm now getting the ladder 🪜 out to retrieve it from the roof.

Hope this zone sells out as it will become interesting should Charlton play a big prem team and want to use any empty seats…unless the zone isn’t used in cup games.

Hmm, so why does the club put a photo up with adults sitting in the 16-20 section?
    You couldn't make it up.
  • Mine finally came today. First time since COVID due to health and financial troubles. Can’t bloody wait now it’s arrived.! COYR

doesn't make sense, the article states
"The section, which is located in the Covered End West Quadrant,"
when you go to seat selection it shows all areas in the NW Quadrant and the adjacent Covered End western end as
being available to adults and over 65's - so where is 16-20 Zone????
