Really don’t understand why City have had Doku and Walker marking Gabriel on the last 2 corners….asking for trouble1

Trossard’s an idiot3
-
Of course he does.
Another game ruined.1 -
The height of stupidity from Trossard - if the foul wasn't going to get him sent off then kicking the ball away certainly was.1
-
Does that really warrant a Red Card? - Or does it just need a final warning?
Difficult job as a referee1 -
He's on a yellow so asking for trouble doing that2
-
This is pure Barclays. Lego heads raging0

54th minute, right at half time and you can't use your judgement to give him a final warning?
Of course not.0 - Sponsored links:

You would think they would know the rules by now!3 -
It’s a definite yellow, cynical foul and launching the ball away like that would get you booked in any minute of any game0
-
We've got a whole match thread moaning about gamesmanship and refs not stamping down on time wasting etc. Michael Oliver has just shown you how refs should deal with it.11

Or did he get a yellow for the barge as well?0 -
That rule for some reason is only ever in place for one game every weekend. How curious.

Was he booked for clattering the player or kicking the ball away?
I assumed it was for the foul?1 -

We have a whole thread devoted to how we thought time wasting ruined yesterday's game. It's a booking for kicking the ball away and that cannot be selective. Blame the Ref for enforcing the Laws rather than the idiot who knew exactly what he was trying to do.5 -

Nobody talking about the city player kicking the ball away earlier in the game either. Shouldn't matter where or when it is or who is involved if on booking already or not, if its an offence every player should be booked every time it happens.3

We've seen numerous times this season other teams go unpunished for kicking the ball away. Even in this very game.
Guarentee only one team gets a player sent off for that offense this entire season.1 -
Trossard is a fucking Idiot.4
-
The speed it all happens, I actually wonder if Trossard heard the whistle
Difficult as allowing interpretation opens a can of worms, but he kicks it to make a clearance, rather than that pathetic "kick the ball a few yards" approach you see a lot of players doing.0 -

I’ll repeat, Trossard is a fucking Idiot. Don’t give the ref the opportunity.4

Personally looking at the replays i think the ref was willing to let the foul go with a warning, but then he boots the ball away as well which gives him no choice.1 -
