It’s a travesty that Sainz will be so far down the grid next year
Wonder if he might yet end up in a Red Bull, given his Contract, with Colapinto able to stay with Williams
Highly doubt it but would be a massive shame for Colapinto to not be on the grid. He’s shown a lot of promise since coming in

If Red Bull were sensible they'd throw everything at Sainz to sign him, stick Lawson in the RB with Tsunoda and Williams sign Colapinto

Instead it strangely looks like the option they'll go for is to stick Lawson in the Red Bull (could easily be another Albon or Gasly), and they're potentially trying to get Colapinto to join Tsunoda

The problem with Sainz is that Sainz Sr and Jos Verstappen absolutely detest each other. Otherwise I think Horner would have made the move.

Franco to VCARB would be a very interesting one , would love to see Gabi Bortoleto in the Sauber too.

However Franco to VCARB would show how little faith the Red Bull hierarchy have in Isack Hadjar and Ayumu Iwasa that they feel like they have to go outside the Red Bull academy again. Arvid Lindblad is probably the best talent in their academy but he could need 2 years of F2 to get there.

When they show the drivers faces in the lead up to the start of qualy or the race…anyone noticed that Liam Lawson is a dead ringer for a young Chris Solly!

That must have been pretty terrifying for Tsunoda there, travelled a long way with 0 control
  • Russell was so lucky not to have Yuki fly into the back of him

Perez with a false start is incredible, guy just constantly makes errors

Yeah the pressure has just got to him too much now... He's too desperate to perform here

looks like it wasn’t a false start in the end, he just can’t park the car properly which is even worse

  • No surprise to see Verstappen lose the lead, RB just doesnt have the pace
  • This is fucking ridiculous today from Max!!
  • Verstappen is a total and utter disgrace of a sportsman. There is no worse example in world sport. Filthy human being.

10 second penalty for the prick
  • That second incident, where he just drives Norris off the track was just dangerous

Would park him for Brazil for his antics. Get Lawson in that Red Bull. Clearly thinks the rules don't apply to him

Norris needs to get ahead before the pit stops, create as big a gap as possible for Verstappen to have to close
  • Great battle between between the Merc boys there, thats how you do it

He got a 10 second for the turn 4 incident right? Have they given a response to the turn 7/8 stuff?
  • Wow... Lawson fighting for a Red Bull seat there!!

Would hate to be driving anywhere near him for the rest of the race, his head will be on mars

Hopefully 6 penalty points on his license too, minimum.

Think they should bring back the pit stop penalties personally, like a 10 second stop and go

They've been talking about scrapping the penalty points, so maybe they should introduce cards like in football, 1 penalty in a race, a warning, 2 is a yellow card, (and a 5 place grid penalty for next race) 3 is a red and you miss the next race.

How soon before Piastri is within the 20 seconds of Verstappen? Could be really useful for Norris

If I was Norris, I’d just sit behind him for time being, there’s no way he’s going to catch the Ferraris

Anyway all of this aside, the Ferraris suddenly look absolutely mega, Monza, Austin and now here, and by all accounts they felt like they should have been a lot better in Singapore
